In a nightmare

In a nightmare

-Hello," someone spoke. It was a slow voice, full of whispers. It was more of a whisper. -Who are you? -I went deeper. In the curtains of the bathroom, in the bathtub, there was a black shadow. So I guessed that's where the creepy thing was. When the woman's fingers grabbed the curtain and began to pull it back, my skin crawled all over. Her hand was completely rotten and her nails were broken and long. I stepped back because the truth was already scaring me. -What are you looking for here? -I asked in a whisper. -I want... a soul.

Man in women’s prison

Man in women’s prison

The black spider licked Larry's thick lips with her tongue, and her eyes were more sharp than flirtatious. "You can't even resist my temptation, I'm afraid something else will be more capable of taking your life." "Then shouldn't I learn about it before I die." "What do you want to know?" The black spider wrapped her hands around his neck. "Your body." Larry smiled and kissed her on her jade neck and said against her ear, "I'm a person who has never believed in legends." "Then you can try it." The black spider blew on Larry's ear, "When do you want to try it?"

Rejected but Fated with the Alpha King

Rejected but Fated with the Alpha King

She can run, but her stamina would not match mine. ‘But that is not the important part here.’ I quickly looked back. Elizabeth stopped walking and she was staring into space before meeting my gaze. If I remember it right, Elizabeth fears spiders. There was a day when she went home crying just because she saw one. I was about to warn her, but I was late. On the top of her head, I saw a Theraphosa spider. It is a large spider, twelve inches in size. Theraphosa loves Yuronia fruits, and they live near the trees. It bites, but it has no venom. It does not eat humans, but instead, humans catch it and cook it.

ALPHA JAKE

ALPHA JAKE

The spider from my dream—the monstrous, car-sized beast with glowing yellow eyes—was here, its massive body twisting and writhing as it emerged from the shadows. “How is this possible?” I whispered, my voice trembling. The spider let out a screech, its fangs dripping with venom. “Priscilla,” Jake said, his voice urgent, “we’ll talk about Jena later. Right now, we have a real problem.” The spider lunged, its massive legs crashing down where Jake and I had been standing just seconds before. Jake shoved me aside, drawing his blade and slashing at one of its legs. The blade connected, leaving a shallow gash, but the spider barely seemed fazed.

Accidentally Yours

Accidentally Yours

One month into our agreement, and I’m about ready to kill Cole with my bare hands. He seems to be having a grand old time torturing me. It’s a Saturday morning, and I’m peacefully wrapped up in my bed, having an incredibly happy dream. That is, of course, until I feel something tickle my nose. I stir in my sleep and moan, snuggling into my pillow, drifting off to sleep again. Not even five seconds later, I feel a tickle on my nose again and lift my hand, thinking it was my hair, to brush it away. I jump awake when I feel something trying to crawl up my nose. I’m deathly scared of spiders, so I open my eyes in a panic and see Cole standing over me, a stupid grin plastered on his ridiculously

I absolutely adore and love this book! The dialogue is fantastic. It's funny, witty, smart, sexy, better than real-life. Great ear for the back-and-forth. The storyline did not drag. Pacing was just right. She brought real emotion to. Congrats on telling a beautiful story with exceptional characters

The Racism Antidote: Love Like Jesus Does Racism begins with a lack of love. You can’t love someone like Jesus does and harbor prejudice in your heart toward that person. It’s impossible. We must love everybody the way Jesus loves them.  Jesus gets very specific about this in John 15:12: “My comma

Take What You Want

Take What You Want

I rubbed my baby bump and walked forward, speaking with cool detachment. When Paula heard this, her face filled with disdain as she curled her lips. "It's just a spider bite! We dealt with plenty of spiders back home. It's no big deal. "You city folks are just too soft. We're not afraid of these things." Oliver chimed in, "Exactly, quit being so dramatic. We're perfectly fine, aren't we?" I raised my voice. "But this isn't an ordinary spider. It's a Black Widow! The venom is extremely potent. If you don't get treatment immediately, you could die."

Eden Rebuilt: My Island Adventure with Divine

Eden Rebuilt: My Island Adventure with Divine

Spiders can walk on their radial threads and also have a way to deal with the sticky horizontal ones, as they secrete a lubricating fluid that prevents them from sticking to their own silk. But now it was useless for her to turn over; the strength of twenty black ants pulling was too much, even if she resisted with all her might, it was in vain. Seeing no danger, Ethan Brooks then brought the other end of the bamboo stick to the black widow's mouth. Just like Sparta's first encounter with the white tree fruit, the black widow greedily devoured the fruit. Moments later, Ethan Brooks suddenly felt a weak wave of information emanating from the black widow.

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

The mass of black spiders fell to the floor and ran for the open door, out into the passageway, over the side of the boat, and into the ocean. “Oh my moons, oh my moons,” Leneve says exasperated and trembling, still trying to shake off any remaining spiders. “What happened?” Mathias asks, stepping back to make a little room. “It was her. I saw her in a dream and then I woke up covered in, in, those things!” She points to where the last of the spiders were creepily crawling over the boat’s edge. “Who?” I ask aloud curiously wondering who ‘she’ was. Rhett pulls Leneve into his arms, comforting her. “Yggdrasil.” He growls, frowning when the name drips with hate from his tongue.

Protect and Serve

"You're away." She let go of the branch and fell unceremoniously towards the earth. Although unnecessary, Shane caught her in his arms. "Tell no one," she muttered, staring suspiciously at the web. "She doesn't really have pet spiders does she?" "Black widow," Banshee said, overhearing everything, "brown recluse, three species of tarantulas --"
