Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. In this world full of magic, demonic beasts and restrictions, they live on the run, abandoned by their parents. He was the only number on my phone besides Francis and my mother, but he wasn't answering. ​Time passed as my anxiety climbed in leaps and bounds until outside the shop became pitch black as night took its turn. Beyond the blur of illuminated shelves in the store, I couldn't see much else but small clumps of what I assumed to be shop lights along the road. I put the phone down after the thousandth attempt and look down at Sassy. She was at my feet, her black collar camouflaging with her fur as she lays in wait. ​I had to go home.

Dream Mate Fans, I rarely do this. But for the moment, I will be taking a short break from updating the book Dream Mate. As you may already know, I have been balancing writing three stories simultaneously. I am nearing the end of my book, The Hunted Hunter, which has taken over my brain. I cannot vibe with my other stories to write new chapters and can't force myself to write as it's honestly not my style. So until either I complete The Hunted Hunter or my brain can once again switch gears to other books, this story will be on hold. Thanks for understanding!
