The vegetation that was everywhere one could look was lush, even tropical looking almost. “How is this possible?” I asked of no one in particular. The Captain answered, “Welcome to Eden. So she shook her head, muttered, “It’s getting late,” and practically bolted. That night, Esther had a long, twisted dream. She dreamed she was fifteen again. A man had tried to grope her, and she’d called the police. But when they arrived, the man claimed she had come onto him. What made it worse? Her own parents believed him.

“I wasn’t … I mean, I was just dreaming. I had a … bad dream, a very bad dream. May be you heard me then. That’s also the reason for me being haggard and tired. Nothing else. You… can rest assured. "Thank you very much." I took the herbal tonic with me and left. I slept in my daughter's room that night and had the same nightmare. I woke up in fear as usual. I should have taken the herbal tonic provided to me. Maybe it could have chased away these terrible nightmares. Something else caught my attention though. I saw Estella in my dream with fangs and claws, her ears resembling those of a wolf, and her eyes dark. She was destroying everything her hands touched. For a moment, I was frozen, unsure of how to help my child.

Third POV She sprang up immediately the moment it seemed she felt a touch, all to realize that it was a trance. “Oh God! There I go again!” She couldn't believe that she dreamt such an erotic dream. It looked so real that she was panting as she sat on the bed. Estella looked down at herself, she was still in the clothes she wore and went to work. She stood up and headed to put it off, then prepare for the evening. “I can't believe I'm actually packing out of here. I should tell the landlady before evening.” She muttered to herself, in case she no longer saw her again. This wasn't a difficult task, so she moved on to other things.

Chapter 031 Esther's POV My eyes snapped open, my chest heaved as I gasped for air. I was drenched in cold sweat and the blankets were wrapped around my body. “shit, fucking bitch. fuck it,” I groaned, biting my lower lips before raking my hand through my hair. It was a terrible nightmare again. It has been almost two weeks since we returned from Dubai and I often see Maya in my dreams. She kept hunting me over and over again, trying to strangle me to death. It worsened to the extent that I had to find comfort in valium to cure insomnia.

Callie shifted in her sleep, her tiny fingers searching until they curled around her brother’s hand. A sob caught in Esther’s throat. She slipped from her bed and knelt beside them. With shaking fingers, she brushed Callie’s curls away from her forehead before gently cupping Caleb’s cheek. She closed her eyes and rested her forehead against the mattress. “It was only a dream,” she whispered. But the words tasted bitter. Outside, the first rays of dawn stretched across the skyline, washing the city in pale gold. Morning had arrived. But Esther felt as though she’d spent the entire night fighting ghosts.

I waited as he walked down the hallway. “Hey, how was your day?” He asked as he kissed my cheek. “It was good, but I have met someone else now. His name is Zelimir, he is from the Mortal World,” I finished explaining my dream to Josh as he sat on the couch next to me. I told him of everything in the dream and everything that I had been thinking of all day, except of course, the fact that Zelimir was so good-looking.
