“Are you coming down now?” “Uh… no. I’ll have to change.” “Alright.” Mrs. Dill bowed politely and stepped out with the tray, the door closing gently behind her. Rosa changed quickly, slipping into a soft green sundress that hugged her hips just enough to flatter her without too much effort. The color warmed her skin and made her eyes glow like polished jade. She brushed her hair over one shoulder, smoothed the skirt, and took a steadying breath before heading downstairs. Voices drifted from the living room. Ethan’s light, easy tone and Alexander’s deeper reply. She stepped into the living room just as both men turned.

The maid quickly picked up the dress box and went into the makeup room. When the box opened, it was a snow-white high-waisted fixed-length cocktail dress. Rose was amazed by its beauty. “Wow, this dress is so beautiful, is this the work of a famous overseas designer? I'm confused at the sight of Rosa. She's dressed in a white tulle dress with a dramatic train and on her head is a fascinator the size of tray. Rosela felt so much joy this morning that her over joyed moods got everyone in the house to baffles, thinking what could have been the source of her sudden joy this morning.
