Daniel's car was exactly what Mira had expected: sleek, expensive, and intimidating. The interior smelled of leather and something else, something subtle and clearly costly. Daniel wasted no time. "You drove a woman this morning." The man swallowed hard as he tried to remember. "Y-Yes. I drove several female passengers today." Marcus placed a CCTV snapshot on the table.

“That’s because you’re not used to it yet.” But it didn’t take long before Lydia noticed something off in the way Daniel was driving. His foot pressed a little harder on the gas than usual. The engine’s vibration crept subtly through the floor, growing into a low, steady hum. His hands moved swiftly on the wheel, precise and unwavering. Daniel scoffed loudly, holding his head in panic, when Janet heard this, she snapped.

“Y-You need to hurry. Please.” “Yeah. I’m, uh, working on that.
