I felt myself getting pale , I just lost my complete energy due to the bloody marking done , a minute before . I hated myself to mark that bloody bitch as mine . But I had no option beside that . I tried to contact with fire but I couldn’t even feel him inside myself making me more hollow . I went towards couch and laid down and instantly every thing in front of mine was blacked out . What’s wrong with me? Ignoring all thoughts and Fenris’ grumpiness, I drove home. Looking at the mansion alone swamped me with the feeling of suffocation. Something was wrong, and soon after I heard it. There were loud crashes inside this house, insinuating that someone was either fighting or throwing something about. I ran inside in a rush, only to find Mia in a mad state.

I sighed and nodded, feeling the tension in the car. "Be quick!" he shrieked at the driver, who jolted nervously in his seat. "Yes, boss," the driver replied with a nod. As the car started moving, I swallowed hard and tilted my head, staring out of the window. Mason's sudden appearance flooded my thoughts again. My eyes grew dull as the driver picked up speed. Everything in my life now feels gloomy and depressing. This isn't the life I imagined for myself, but fate seems to have led me to this dark place…… to the furthest end of the depressing part of the world.

REED’S POV The drive home stretched on, each second dragging as my mind spiraled deeper into the chaos that had become my reality. The hum of the car engine was the only sound, blending with the faint whispers of Liana’s soft breathing. My grip on the steering wheel was vice-like, my knuckles whitening under the strain. It felt like if I let go, even for a second, everything would fall apart—both the car and my sanity.

I gritted my teeth, my fingers flexing against the steering wheel as frustration clawed at me from the inside out. This was dangerous. This was messy. I needed control. I thrived on it. Lived by it. It was the only thing keeping me sane in a world filled with chaos and betrayal. And yet, every time I looked at Iris. Her eyes. I felt like I was losing it. But no matter how fast I drove, no matter how far I went, I couldn’t escape the truth that was slowly dawning on me. And that scared the hell out of me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I yelled angrily as I hit the steering wheel in rage. But doubt, that small, ugly seed of doubt, began to creep in again. What if I had been blind all these years? What if there had been signs I missed, things I didn’t want to see? My grip on the steering wheel tightened even more. I could barely focus on the road as Caspian's words kept echoing in my head, refusing to stop no matter how hard I tried to shake them off. I barely noticed the other cars on the road, my mind too wrapped up in the storm raging inside me. I was driving really fast, but I didn't care. That bastard Caspian. That smug grin. I’d kill him! I'd kill him and Fiona!

I had passed an intersection, and when I turned, another car followed me, leaving Shawn's car behind. It wasn't much of a surprise as the road was big enough for any driver to overtake another person. However, the driver was driving closer and closer to me. The driving was unreasonable as if the person was intentionally targeting me and wanted mutual destruction. My heart skipped a beat. I dropped my phone and sped up, trying to leave the crazy driver behind. But I was wrong. The driver had truly gone crazy. His speed was breaking rules, and he was fast approaching me. My body trembled as despair flashed through my eyes.

If I do, then I’ll know for sure I’m really going crazy. I started the engine and drove out of the compound faster than I should, my grip on the wheel tight. I needed to get my head straight. --- Lorenzo's POV My hands tightened around the wheel, my knuckles turning white as I drove roughly, ignoring every traffic light I passed. No matter how hard I tried to calm my damn mind down, it wouldn’t work. My head kept replaying what I saw earlier. Isn’t this what I wanted? Then why does it feel like it’s not really what I wanted at all?

It made me crave more of him, as if I were a moth drawn to the flame. "Ugh!" I exclaimed, frustration spilling over into a loud groan. I slammed the book down on the library table harder than I intended, the loud thud echoing through the quiet. I had hoped for a distraction, but it seemed nothing could keep my mind from dwelling on desires that were far from convenient.

so I snatched the pen from his hands making him frown. "What the hell is wrong with you sugar.." I glare at him, "exactly my question what the hell is wrong with you, can't you sit quite for sometime.. you are driving me crazy.." and that jerk smirked.. "well there are many other ways via which I can drive you crazy babe.." he said in a suggestive tone and I face palmed myself.
