Alpha's Possession

Alpha's Possession

During the session, Penelope got to understand more about the o levels of fighting and she realized even something as simple as a punch wasn't just all about throwing a fist. "Close your hand tightly with your thumbs on top of your other fingers" H Dorian instructed using his hand to correct her fist which wasn't positioned rightly "Rest your thumb on top of your middle knuckle, then squeeze firmly to maintain a strong grip". He curbed her fist with his palm and the warmth from it was,say relaxing to Penelope "This will prevent your hand from damaging when you punch". He smiled and this gave her a reassuring feeling since he had kept a serious face all through.

Shift

Shift

Non-threatening so that I could just get answers. Pulling my arm back after a minute or so, I rubbed it like there were cobwebs on my arm. Feeling the residue of another pack was weird and even more so when I had no intention of going on any pack territory moving forward. Sitting on the hood of Thing, I pulled out my drum sticks and started to hit some beats just on the metal between my legs.

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!

Trashing My Ex with the Ice King

Trashing My Ex with the Ice King

His dark, sharp eyes examined the stick for a moment before he looked at me. "Your grip on the stick is wrong, Champ," he said in a deep, calm baritone. "I saw your reflection in the glass when you swung it earlier. If you hold it too far down like that, your shot won't have any lethal power." The man then twirled the stick in his hand with incredible skill, demonstrating the correct grip. His movements were so natural, as if he were born to hold the object. "You have to place your dominant hand here. Use your shoulder as the pivot, not your wrist," he explained. He then handed the stick back to me. "Try it."

The Decadence of The Fallen

The Decadence of The Fallen

When I had found my rhythm I continued playing the drums without a hitch, even flipping and twirling my sticks during the drum fill. Before the end of my performance, as I was hitting the hi-hat with my left hand stick, I flipped the one in my right high up in the air then caught it with the same hand. I continued it into a drum roll, ending my performance by bouncing my sticks from the snare drums, to the tom-toms, and finally the cymbals. "Wow, Madison! You totally killed it! I'm really impressed." JD said, clapping his hands. "You rock, Madison!" Warren added, smiling from ear to ear.

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

“It’s nothing.” “Why do you have an old nicked-up drumstick hanging on your wall?” Eric asked. “Do you play drums too, tripod?” “No, I don’t play drums. It’s something I caught at a live show.” Jace carefully set the drumstick back on the pegs he’d installed to display his most prized possession. “Did your favorite drummer throw it to you or something?” Jace smiled. “Yeah, something like that.” Aggie could not resist the opportunity to meddle. “That’s your drumstick, Eric.”

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........
Mint Mocha
Only up to the first 3 stories...and I loved them! I wondered why the book was so big but it's broken down with several stories so when I get time, I'll read them accordingly. Pretty well written/edited and certain to make you desire more than you can handle.

Can't Slip From His Grip

Can't Slip From His Grip

When I see Reese Chapman again, it is exactly three years after I sever our mate bond. It is also the third year since I completely seal my wolf and hide at the edge of the Shadow pack territory, living as an insignificant healer. Tonight, the air in the clinic feels heavy and icy under his overwhelming aura. He carries a lightly injured female companion in his arms and forcibly takes over the best VIP ward in the clinic. During my shift, he summons me three times through his guards. The first time, he coldly orders, "There are wolfsbane fragments on the bedsheets. Change them." I send an apprentice herbalist to handle it. Two hours later, he has a nurse relay another order. "The smell

Bound by the moon

Bound by the moon

My legs screamed for rest, but there was no rest. Crates were dragged into the circle, heavy wood thudding onto the ground. When the lids were thrown open, I stared at what lay inside. Staffs. Knives. Arm guards. The sight made my stomach twist. These weren’t meant for hands like mine, hands that trembled just lifting them. I reached for a staff first. The wood was rough, heavier than I expected. I wrapped my sweaty palms around it, but the grip kept slipping, my skin raw from friction. Across from me, a sparring partner raised his staff with ease.

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

"They actually managed to invite him!" The Dragodrum was a unique instrument of a heritage family in Dragoria. When struck, it produced a distinct rumbling sound, reminiscent of a dragon's roar. A rapid succession of drumbeats filled the air, and the hammers in the hands of the two men on stage became a blur. Boom, boom, boom…

The Lycan's Unexpected Warrior Luna!

The Lycan's Unexpected Warrior Luna!

I grab a small thick stick from off the ground and place it in between my teeth. I bite down hard as I grab my hand and quickly pull. I growl biting down hard on the stick until I hear the resounding echo of a very loud snap and crack. I slowly move my fingers and make sure it feels as it should I then remove the stick from my teeth and place it against my hand. I grab a little piece of creeping vine, pulling and breaking it from the rest. I then wrap it around my wrist and the stick keeping my hand and wrist in place.

Loved the book, lasted way too long. Could have been broken up into 2 or 3 books in my opinion. More warnings probably could be listed for the more sensitive readers but all in all I Loved the story and the characters. Great read!!
Liliana
This was one of the crudest and most incredible and original story about shifters, werewolves and Lycans. I hated how they treated their females but it still was so refreshing because it made it so original. I loved Yasmine and Zachariah together. Thank you so much author!!

Tales of a Shifter (P1) - Meeting

Tales of a Shifter (P1) - Meeting

" Brandon breathed as he clambered up the fourth rung. "You're serious about those gloves...I don't get it. "Ezekiel commented, before he turned and started to walk away. "All right, take it slow, and I'll be back with the first two troughs by time you make it to the top Brandon nodded his head, and focused on the ladder. He stumbled a few times at first as his stiches protested if he twisted the wrong way, but he was soon at the top of the Drum. The "pump" turned out to be a circular, thick metal handle, painted a dark green that contrasted heavily with the white Drum and metal parts that it was attached to.
