His breath reeked of garlic and cheap whiskey. Damien didn’t flinch. *"Just drive."* The SUV turned down a narrow alley, the headlights illuminating a rusted metal door marked with a single symbol—a rat, its tail coiled into a crown. Ferraro’s mark. The door groaned open, revealing a yawning darkness beyond. ### **The Dungeon** The air inside was thick with the stench of mildew, blood, and something far worse—the cloying sweetness of decay. The walls wept condensation, the concrete floor slick with things Damien didn’t want to identify.

The room was simple with nothing special, just a bed, a nightstand on each side of the bed, a table and chair across the bed. Everything in the cabin was made of wood. Maybe this wasn’t a bad idea after all, Kimberly thought to herself. While staring at the room, trying to take in every detail, she realized there was nowhere to charge a phone, but, that wasn’t even the weirdest part of Kimberly’s discovery. She also found out that there wasn’t any bathroom, this made her freak out. How was she supposed to shower? She wondered and was about running out of the bedroom when she bumped into something hard, causing her to fall on her butt. “Where are you heading to in such a hurry?” Ian asked whi

It was a mistake on his part, so he checked the sound settings once again. The strange structure in the gargoyle dungeon puzzled Zen. Everyone took their usual positions without communication, so Zen held his tongue. If the theme for the first ten floors was fantasy, the next ten floors were the labyrinth and maze. It was crawling full of undead creatures and Halloween-themed monsters specialising in debuffs and curses. “It’s here,” Sasha declared, and the girls leapt to the air even before Zen could understand what was happening. He was too distracted by the piercing shriek in his ears until he heard the sound of… raining bones?

Dungeon Cores were able to rank up through the over-accumulation of energy, so it was often rare to see a dungeon rank up, as they took hundreds of years at the very least. This Dungeon was named Boundless Abyss Dungeon, and it was an X-Rank Dungeon with beast up to X-Rank roaming its depths. It was named Boundless Abyss because the end of the dungeon was never found, it was said that it extended for over one hundred floors! And it possessed over 10 different biomes, from swamps, jungles, forests, deser

I stare at the wet carpet for a few minutes, watching it getting drenched by the water droplets that fall down my hair strands. I can’t accept this. I look ahead and stride towards the back of the packhouse. My heart pounds in my chest as I approach the heavy, iron-bound door that leads to the underground dungeon. I push the door open, the hinges groaning in protest. A wave of musty air washes over me, carrying with it the scent of decay and despair. The dungeon is a labyrinth of dark, narrow corridors, the walls damp and dripping with moisture. I follow the winding passageways, my footsteps echoing in the silence. The air grows

More of my bones snap and pain shoots through my body but not wanting to make the same mistake as last time, I quickly take in my surroundings, looking for an exit. The rogue dungeon is nothing more than a damp cellar with bars dividing it up into cells. As my eyes adjust to the lack of light, I can see that there is only one way in and out and that is through the staircase. I look toward the cells and notice that there is only one person in the cells.

It was as if the very walls of the dungeon were soaked in the tears of the tormented souls that inhabited it. With the surroundings shrouded in an ominous gloom, I relied on Lena's keen vision to pierce through the shadows. The dungeon stretched before me, a labyrinth of grimy walls and murky passageways, each corner cloaked in an unsettling stillness broken only by the mournful wails that echoed through the air.

Reya looked at Kirou meaningfully before continuing, "Then I'll have you accompany me to a dungeon nearby." Hearing those words caused Kirou to tilt his head to the side. Since he was currently in his Lycan form, he looked like a wolf tilting his head in thought, which was surprisingly cute in the eyes of Reya. "There's a dungeon nearby? Wait, we have dungeons near the starter villages?" Apparently, it was news to Kirou that dungeons could be found near the starter villages. He knew about the ones near the port towns for each continent but this new info surprised hi
