The Alpha Twins Plaything

The Alpha Twins Plaything

My fingers curled into fists. “We’re running out of time.” Draven nodded once. “We need to get inside before sunrise.” Darius scanned the walls carefully. “There’s a drainage tunnel under the east side of the compound,” he said. “Used to connect to the old dungeons.” Draven looked at him. “You’re sure?” “Pretty sure.” “That’s not reassuring.” Darius smirked slightly. “When has anything about tonight been reassuring?” I looked back at the packhouse, the towering walls, the guards pacing along the battlements, and the wooden platform rising slowly in the center of the courtyard.

“Okay, guys, we’re doing singles because Jericho here just had to kill Steph.” “What the hell, man,” I said as Charlotte shook her head. “She knows?” Nataly asked. “She is right here and yes, she knows everything,” Charlotte said and looked at Nataly. Nataly broke eye contact first and I hid my smile. “No face shots, if you get hit, you’re out. Leave the maze with your hands in the air,” Jack said and Joshua smiled as he looked at me. We walked around the outer building to where Jack had a maze set up. It wasn’t an overly big maze but it was intricate enough to make the game fun.

Alpha Dante

Alpha Dante

I said, smirking at my mate “but I believe that you’re the master of deceit and acting” “What are you referring to this time, Dante?” Aurora asked, frowning in question, before her eyes widened in realization and understanding. A devious smile formed on my mate’s face, and taking her hand in mine, I kissed her knuckle gently, letting my lips linger there for a few seconds. “I believe that we are going to need to play one final game, neonata” I said, looking her in the eye “a last big show, or more specifically, a grand finally”

I love it already. Can't wait to read more. I just hope Dante would stop judging Aurora for a while and get to know her story first. And I hope Aurora can also open up to him. Maybe, they'll be able to overcome their fears and problems together. Good job author!

Excellent book. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. There were many twists, turns and surprises. In so many books you can predict what will happen next, but this was unpredictable. I loved reading this book. This book is a must read. I

Drake says. “Does it say how you will change the world, bringing the broken factions together?” I ask. He frowns at me. “Did you read it?” “No, I didn’t have to. It’s what you’re doing.” After the first night, the tension goes away and over the next week, we meet GoldMoon, the Ceryneian Hind from Greek mythology, the techrechauns, the trolls, and finally, we got to meet Lucero, the unicorn.

I’ve read all the book in this spin off series from the original Guardian series. This is by far my favorite of the 4. There’s some overlap but I feel it brings all tho other books together. The story is fantastic and the characters make you feel. I will definitely read this one again.

Deadly Game

Deadly Game

Aria The four blocks back to the bunker were a blur of shadows and freezing water. Every breath burned in my lungs like liquid nitrogen, but I didn't slow down. Guided by the quiet, occasional click of Malakai’s voice in my ear, I navigated the blind spots of the industrial docks, slipping through the rusted chain link fences and oil-stained alleyways until the heavy steel door of the warehouse finally materialized through the grey fog. I keyed the biometric scanner, slipped inside, and slammed the heavy door shut, locking the multi-bolt deadbolts behind me.

“I don’t know the first thing about this stuff.” “What do you see?” he asked again. I looked around at the pool area. “I don’t know. It isn’t terrible, but it feels like something I would have visited when I was ten.” Trent nodded. “It feels dated.” I started to catch on to what it was he was looking for. “The carpets throughout the lobby area are kind of ugly and dated as well.” “Yes. They would need to be ripped out and replaced with marble or tile. The carpet in the halls and every room would also need to be replaced.”

No sound from below could carry to the main house except through the open door. The basement was outfitted in silver down to the coating on the walls and floor. Riley had already laid out the tools of our trade along a worktable opposite the cell holding the vile creature she had captured. He snarled at me through the bars as I considered which tools to start with. I chuckled darkly, their snarls may be intimidating to others, but I knew he was trying to save himself from what was coming. “Tell me your name.” I spoke, my back still turned to him as I considered an iron brand coated in silver.
