Even when Zion let me down, I felt the same way. “Yes. Do you want to go out somewhere?” Their eyes sparkled with excitement and disbelief. I felt a little guilty for not spending much time with them. “Please, Mom. Can we go to a park or a zoo?” asked Zayden, and I thought for a while. The LA Zoo closed down at 5. So we couldn’t go there for just an hour! Maybe we could go somewhere the kids could mingle with nature, somewhere far from the urban jungle they have been used to.

What only matters to me right now is that I am already here, especially that I am with him of all people. Since I was a kid, I really wanted to go to the places like these just to see different kinds of animals but because Mother Myrna and I were short for money, we could not go that is why I am so really grateful to Sir Franco right now because he granted one of my dreams while I am still crying on him. Good thing that I already stop crying when we are already inside the Zoo. I could not help myself but to rejoice and be amazed at the animals I am seeing especially when I finally saw the peacock, lion, tiger, zebra, big turtle, and giraffe inside their designated big cages.

Her blonde ponytail bounced as she turned to Lily, curiosity already lighting up her face. “What did you do yesterday?” Ella asked, leaning in close. Lily’s face lit up. “I went to the zoo!” she exclaimed, unable to contain her excitement. Ella’s eyes widened. “The zoo?” “Yeah! Mommy, Daddy, me, and Sparkles,” Lily said proudly, holding up her stuffed dragon. “We saw lions, elephants, monkeys, everything!” Ella gasped. “Did you see a tiger?” Lily shook her head. “No tigers, but the lions were huge! There was one with a big, golden mane. He looked like a king.”

I have quite a bit saved up, and Oakley has some from his moms. We just want to find the perfect place, and we haven’t found it yet. I’m finishing up some stuff now, then heading to meet for lunch with my friends, Giana and Oakley. Giana is actually mated to my friend, Jake. It’s kind of cute seeing them together and happy. At first they clashed a lot, but now they seem a lot better. I finish typing things into the chart, and then I'm heading to a local cafe to meet my mate and friends. I’m the last one there, and I find them in the back corner. They’re all chatting, and laughing.

Chapter 27 - I smell babies. ~~ "Dylan is so sweet!" Janice gushed over the phone. "Oh yeah? Did you eat him?" I joked as I drew funny patterns on the bed. "Haha very funny." She said in a flat voice which instantly changed to excitement in her next words. "He took me to this new water park, the one which recently opened, you know the one which we were planning to go? Yeah that one. He took me there, he knew how much I love water rides. Isn't that sweet?!"

DORIS Saturday, Arthur, Mia, and I went to the Bronx Zoo. Mia loved the giraffes and the pandas. Sunday, we went to a museum I found by researching kid-friendly activities on the Internet. The museum was called Small Is Beautiful, and all the artwork was kid-sized. Because everything was small, of course, Mia loved it. Arthur only checked his tablet for work once. Mia caught him doing it. She gave me her secret finger signal, and all I had to do was give Arthur a chastising look, and he immediately put his tablet away.

Dylan buys a lot for their home… such a lovely wife. While he is unpacking the groceries to put them on the shelves, Luke loved him so much! He even buys him a new laptop for his work. Dylan started a new phosphorous life with him—he cannot thank Luke for giving him such an opportunity. Going inside the room, he put the clothes on the laundry basket. But later on, he sees the see-through dress that his daddy told him at the mall. The pretty boy's face flustered as his jaw drops on the floor.

I feel like I can fly. “We can’t. Homework.” Danielle says, and I frown at her. “I wasn’t asking you.” He snaps at her. “ Carter is in the truck, you can choose to come, or you can continue walking home.” “Hey.” I place a hand on his chest as he tries to advance towards her and I shake my head. “Danielle, I’m gonna go to the Zoo . . . you’re welcome to come if you like?” I tell her and she shakes her head slowly at me, her eyes wide. “You don’t have to talk to Carter . . . or Samuel, I'll be right here.”

"Five million… going twice…" I wanted to scream. I wanted to beg. I wanted to vanish from this spotlight. But I stayed frozen, my mind spinning as I realized no one would go higher. No one would dare oppose Dante Moretti. "Sold," the auctioneer finally said, his voice trembling. "To… Dante Moretti." The words hit me like a hammer. Sold.
