Caleb stepped up to the panoramic viewport, his golden eyes widening in absolute horror. The Earth was not the vibrant, emerald-green sanctuary they had left behind. It was being deleted. Massive patches of the globe—entire oceans and continents—were simply gone. They weren't burned or destroyed; they were replaced by a blinding, sterile, featureless white void. It looked as if a colossal, invisible eraser was casually dragging itself across a painting.
