HEIR OF LIGHT

HEIR OF LIGHT

Terra walked among the strewn and dry bones of the dead, some looked big enough to be grown up men, the others were medium heights indicating female, she silently prayed derora left the children, but terra guessed it was just too good to be true, in her front was a half decayed body of an infant, it looked elf like. She turned to see the horrified looks on the faces of the rest, clearly, she wasn't the only one that thought this a little too much for derora. They walked about for sometime, trying to see if there were signs of life. Terra stared at the charred bodies closely, they were moved to a corner, surely derora did not do this, she knelt to examine them when vines shot out of the earth

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

I call on the earth to pull the toxins from her, sucking them deep into the earth’s core to burn up and keep them from hurting any other living creature. As I watch her body heal from the bruises and the punctures, I can’t help but notice that her hair is the rich color of umber, her lips have the pink hue of peonies and her fair skin, currently pink from the sun, is glowing with my healing power. She’s exquisite, made from the earth. Made for me. I do know, from my minimal experience with the elves, that they, unlike me, are vegan. They do not eat anything that comes from animals, only things that are grown from the earth. I look around, wondering what, if anything, there is nearby that she

N.Savage
This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.

Zalu replies, and I smile a little. "No. Umm, look down on means... Will you behave as if you a better than me? Will you be condescending towards me because I am from earth? Will you be rude to me," I ask, and her eyes widen before she shakes her head? "No. The earth is brutal in many ways. Your people fight over money, and many of your people starve all over the world if they don't have it. Your people also hurt each other...sexually and murder one another over minor slights. I will admit murders do happen on our planets, but it is rare for there to be killings outside of the war. But Earth does one thing right, in my opinion...they send the dying to live. Other planets send their most beau

I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!

Alpha's Weak Omega

Alpha's Weak Omega

“Earth is stubborn. It will not bend to haste or anger. You must become unyielding, grounded, patient.” Kimberly placed her hand on the rocky ground. It was cold, hard, lifeless—or so she thought. Then, faint vibrations tickled her fingers, like a heartbeat hidden deep below. She closed her eyes and pressed harder. Suddenly, the earth rumbled. Pebbles scattered, cracks snaked across the plateau. Kimberly gasped, pulling away, but Elara’s firm hand pressed her back down. “Do not run from its strength. Embrace it.”

I Became a Villainess Werewolf In My Own Novel

I Became a Villainess Werewolf In My Own Novel

Me: "Wait, this was all done by one of our own? Do you know about the Great Western?" Me: "This is so bizarre...And how would 'they' like you to help 'them'?" Me: "Why does it feel like it's pre-recorded?" Me: "Oh, I forgot, go ahead." Her: "No, in the single underground garage in our building. I came back from work, parked the car, and before I could turn it off, I saw 'em in the back seat." Me: "You mean...uh...'they' mean that the real Earthlings shed some of their kind as camouflage and are mostly in a highly technological and civilized state? So where are those highly technological and civilized Earthlings?"

Wildwood: The veins of the earth

Wildwood: The veins of the earth

“Then we have to act now. The longer we wait, the more the Seed frays. The more Varethkaal feeds.” Emily took a step forward, her eyes shadowed with something deeper than fear. “You don’t understand. It’s not just the cult or the forest. It’s all of it—the rot, the ruin, the hunger beneath the roots. It’s alive now. Aware. And we’re the infection it wants to purge.” Silence followed. Then Elias knelt beside the fire and began unpacking the satchel. He laid out the broken fragments carefully: a shard of obsidian marked with a spiral, a water-worn bone whistle, a severed braid of hair tied with red string.

Lost to Earth: Book Three

Lost to Earth: Book Three

Damn! What a quick death! " The thought barely penetrates my brain as I was swirled around in hot blackness. My lungs are burning from the lack of oxygen, while heat eats away my skin and bones. The pyroclastic cloud from Vesuvius wrenched my soul from my body, and everything went silent. "You don't believe in fairies!" A sing-song voice repeats from somewhere in the darkness. A chill of foreboding runs through my incorporeal spine. Shit, not again!

The Last Station Standing

The Last Station Standing

The grass beneath his boots was turning black, the blades of grass dissolving into tiny Square-Pixels of dust. The twist was a Portentous Discovery: The "Mortality Infection" Elara had sent into the stars hadn't just taught the Precursors how to die; it had started to treat Earth itself as a Corrupted-File. The universe was "cleaning" the hard drive, and the people of Earth were the first bits of data to be erased.
