Chapter 96 Xavier emerged from the water, racking his hair with fingers. The kids were swimming and playing around him in their house pool, wearing their swimming suits and tubes. He looked at the chaizy and saw Caroline sleeping with a book over her face. Her bikini clad body was shining in the early spring sun. The weather wasn't hot to say, and it was her favorite pastime these days to lay down in the sun and absorb as much Vitamin D. Her body was a shade of tan and that would always make Xavier horny. The stone on her navel was sparkling in the sun and so was her ring. He kept looking at her for a while before he stepped out of the pool.

Seth always thought Edith was overprotective of her children. "That's it. For now I can only duplicate the sunlight extract just in case this happens again. While waiting, I will continue to observe Julie, maybe I will check her blood regularly. I also ask you to keep her emotions stable," Ashley advised as she handed Edith a box of syringes filled with the sunlight extract. Edith looked at the contents of the box in her hand. One slot was empty and Edith concluded that Ashley had used it to weaken Juliette. There was a feeling of heartlessness that Edith directed towards her daughter. She knew that vampires were weak to sunlight.

Emily woke to the singing of the birds near her window. She turned slightly to the opening that made the sun rays shine brightly into the room. The light from the beautiful day's gift made her cover her face with her right hand. "Urgghh, it is too bright!" She exclaimed. As she was about sitting upright, a hand out of nowhere put down the drape. "Why would the sun ever think of hurting you?" The voice said. She turned immediately and was about jumping up from the bed when she saw Edward.

And Ruby was amazed by the scenery. The rays of the setting sun were beautifully penetrating the could in the sky and the yellow color light bulbs were beautifully decorated. And Ruby thought that she had never seen such a beautiful sunset in her entire life. She turned around to see the whole decoration on that floor then she held Edward's hand and whispered something into his ears, "Edward, why there is no one on the floor. Why the people don’t come to the rooftop to have their meals. There are a lot of empty tables." Edward was amused to see her behavior and said, "No, the tables are all occupied."

Sunny’s POV I was yawning while walking down the road off to our University when a man suddenly appeared in front of me. He’s wearing a black suit and black shades on his eyes looking like a complete member of men in black. “Sunny Peruvian, am I mistaken, ma’am?” I blinked. “H-How did you know my name?” The man took his shades off and bowed at me. “I apologize for the unexpected approach. I’m Edward Wilkinson, Ma’am Peruvian.”

The envoy from the Sunlit pack arrived a week later, the envoy consisted of seven men and five women with the Alpha included. The Alpha George was a tall huge chunk of a man with bluish black hair that brought attentions to his fiery eyes. He had an intimidating aura surrounding him that screamed for submission. The Alpha Lucien, his son Damien and a few emissaries were present to welcome them. Though of smaller built than George, Lucien was no less intimidating with his pale white skin, cold blue eyes and well-proportioned muscles.

Morning Light and Choices Evelyn stirred as the soft warmth of sunlight kissed her face, filtering through the open window. The golden rays danced across the room, casting delicate patterns onto the walls and the polished floor. She blinked slowly, her mind a haze of half-remembered dreams and lingering tension from the previous night. The weight of her new reality pressed against her chest, but for a moment, she let herself bask in the light.

Right now I didn’t even care that all the lights in the house were on. It was a thirty minute drive to Theodore’s. The ride was slow and quiet. We were all lost in our thoughts. The dull sound of the tires on the tarmac and the smooth rev of the engine were the only sound that dominated the car through out the entire ride. In a distance, the mansion that hosted most members of the coven appeared. It was a magnificent view and no matter how upset I was I had to appreciate the view. all the lights in the mansion were turned on. I guess they stayed up for me. I feel so special. Not.

Joseph felt the wind knocked out of him as he heard the whistle followed by the loudest sound he's ever heard in all his 16 years under the Tau Ceti sun. A whiz and BOOM. Whiz and BOOM. Explosion after explosion came pummeling down onto them. An unending barrage of terrifying heat and sound and fireball crashed all around them. Joseph covered his face as clods of disturbed earth pelted and rained down on him. His screams were drowned out by the loud thunders. It went on forever. Until it didn't. Then it stopped. He heard nothing afterwards except the constant ringing in his ear.
