It showed Wesley pinning her down and pulling off her pants. From the angle, Wesley’s back was to the camera, obscuring his face, while Tara’s face was crystal clear. Her flushed cheeks, watery, unfocused eyes, and helpless expression painted a damning picture. The music in the room was deafening, drowning out all voices, making it seem as if she were a willing participant.

As we reached the porch, the details of the shadow became terrifyingly clear. It was Edward. He was curled on his side on the cold concrete doorstep, his clothes torn and covered in dirt. His face was pale, bruised, and smeared with grease. He looked like he had been dragged through hell and back. "Edward! Oh my god, Edward, talk to me!"
