After watching her finish it, I went back to my bedroom and dabbed some moisturizer on my face to test my suspicion. In no time, dark spots bloomed across my skin, in the exact same places as the ones on Mirabelle's face. As I expected, things hadn't changed even though I was given a second chance at life. I recalled how, in my previous life, the more skincare I used, the more spots and wrinkles I developed, as if I had aged 20 years overnight.

If that's the norm, I won't care if I'm included or not. I just went to the library to read a book about Eleftheria. Maybe there is information there about the volcano. I will just pour out my anger and annoyance there. I am being immature and I don't understand myself either. The Palace library is spacious. Even if I spend a year reading it I won't finish all the books. Fortunately, it's easy to find what you need to read here because there are names. I went to the row where there were books about different parts of Valeria. I saw there a book about Samona, Caracass, Avalone, and Valencia. There was also a book about monsters in the Valeria forest and Eleftheria caught my eye.

Chloe asked as she and Harold walked out of the classroom. She was a great talker and listener, very confident, too, and… cool. Harold could sense those qualities and he appreciated them greatly although didn't commend her verbally. “I don't know,” Harold said. “What do you mean you don't know?” “I've never lived another life but this and since I don't know what it is like not being the pup of an alpha, I don't know what it is like being one,” he explained. “It is like asking you what it is like being… pretty.”

I kept walking towards my family till I got to my mom's side and broke down. I have to be strong. Time to turn a new chapter of my life.  Only two chapters left for this book. At first, I wanted to call the second book "My Brother's Keeper" and I wanted to make it a separate book from this one but it's literally just a continuation of Not My Brother so I decided to just post the new chapters under this story.
