Elissa Whirlwind Marriage Novels & Stories

“Are you saying that Mr Hemsworth got married to Helena?” Antonio nodded while Evan held Helena’s hand and kissed her knuckkes. “Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we got married yesterday in a very private ceremony in the presence of our closest friends and family. For a few days, the news of our contract marriage has been floating around every media centre, social media. I want to tell you, there has never been any contract. Our relationship has been real and this marriage proved it. So next time Elijah Rossi accuses us of something I want him to kindly check the facts before announcing it to the world.”

He shrugged. “It’s all in the past though. This was all years ago.” He reached over and patted her on the thigh. “So. I’m curious. If you were amenable to it, who would your parents have married you off to?” he asked, grinning playfully. Elissa snorted. “They never tried because they knew how hard it would be to actually convince me. The only person my mother even suggested was you. Which I promptly laughed at, and then look at us now…” she laughed again. “She was convinced that somehow me marrying you would cause peace, but I’m not thinking so much now. Though, you may be the key to it after all…” she leaned over and kissed his cheek. “I really wanted to hate you because she wanted me to li

She was on cloud nine because it was still unbelievable that she was finally going to marry Carson. The priest started with the vows, first going to ask Amanda. “Amanda Therese Hayes, do you take Carson Grace Waverly as your lawful husband, to love and to cherish him, till death do you apart?” She spoke instantly, without wasting any second. “Yes, I do!” Elissa scoffed internally, the heaviness growing in her chest which was making her unable to breathe. She prepared herself for this but she was failing. When the priest asked the same to Carson, Elissa's heart was pumping hard inside her chest, as if his words would break her heart.

Elisa went stiff, color draining from her face. "Five years. Thirty-three failed weddings. Every 'accident'—his plan. All of it just to get me to walk away." I slid a stack of hospital files across the table. "He thinks marriage is a cage. I'm not dragging him in. Cutting ties is cleaner for both of us." Elisa was shaking, pissed and heartbroken. She remembered every near-death hit I took just trying to say "I do." First time—snipers hit our motorcade. I got shot four times, bled out on the chapel steps.

"You know how difficult it was for Jillard Group to get to where it is today, Shawn! How dare you curse the company over a mere wedding! Charlie was right about you. You're nothing but a selfish freeloading man!" I let out a scoff when I heard Emma's evaluation of me. "You two should just get married if you've already slept together—stop hiding behind these bets and acting in a way that revolts people." I spoke loudly enough that all the nearby guests turned to look in our direction.

"Yes. Like I said. Callum said he's going to marry Vivienne. In four weeks our marriage will be over." "And you just agreed? Didn't even try to stop him?" "What could I do?" Elise replied flatly. "I'd been anticipating this since Grandmother passed. There was nothing left for me to do except ask for four weeks." Nora studied her for a long moment, gauging an expression far too calm for a wife who'd just been told something so hurtful by her husband. "El—aren't you angry?" Elise paused for a moment. She looked at Nora, her gaze still flat.

And for the life of me, I couldn't bring myself to stop it from happening. Not after we reached the closest hotel from the bar, or when the receptionist asked if we wanted one room or two, not even when she took off my jacket and shot me a shy smile. It is only because I couldn't stop myself that I pulled her to me and crashed my lips to hers, forgetting every reason I told myself having her would be a bad idea. ELISA

Marvin was a great guy, he was caring and handsome but things between us ended before it started. " Say hi to him for me." " Are you two hiding something from me because I don't understand why you two can't call each other and say whatever you want to say." " You are over thinking it. Marvin is busy and I don't want to disturb him." Mia didn't say anything else and hungged up the call. Elisa let out a sign and laid back on the soft bed. Soon a staff brought her food, fancy, expensive and delicious. She wondered how long her marriage with Noah was going to last.

I imagine the taste, burning my throat and mouth as it helps me make everything just a little bit better. "She broke her arm on her way home, but that's not what concerns me!" Broke her arm? She really is after my attention, then. "I'm not sure where you're going with this." I hear the exhaustion and can tell I sound unlike my regular, put-together self. But as I bring the whiskey glass to my lips, I realize that I no longer care. Because if Ella was so eager to walk away from our marriage, then why should I believe everyone else would stay?

Cassie stood in the center of the room, her face blotchy with tears, while Liam Whitley faced her with crossed arms. "I'm done," he said loud enough for everyone to hear. "I can't marry someone so spoiled, so entitled. My family won't allow it anyway, your father's company is hemorrhaging money. This engagement is over." He pulled the ring from his pocket…Cassie must have thrown it at him and set it on a nearby table. Then he walked out. The silence that followed was deafening. Cassie's scream pierced the air. She grabbed the nearest vase and hurled it at the wall, where it shattered into a thousand pieces. "How dare he! How dare he embarrass me like this!"
