All we wanted was to be Jacob and Sadie and be free. I found a woman by the name of Doctor Riley Kim. She is a well-known Psychiatrist here in Baker with a hell of a reputation. She is also very expensive and hard to see. I got an appointment for Sadie and me two weeks after Sadie turns eighteen. We hoped she would work with us once we told her our situation. We needed her to see Sadie as a mentally healthy woman. We needed her to see how wrong Sadies reports were. The only thing we worried about was how the doctor could get ahold of Sadies records without giving our location away. It wasn't going to be easy, but we had to try something.

Taylor always seemed nice. He was very tall, not as tall as Alpha Wyatt but close. He has teal eyes and really blonde hair. Jade found her mate and he’s good looking an nice, so I’m relieved she was blessed by the moon goddess. Jade is an Omega, so his rank is a good thing as well for Jade. I hope my mate is kind and handsome as well. Whenever I do find him, if I get lucky soon after I turn 18.

Dalton's POV Jade's voice coming from the pup froze everyone like someone had stopped time itself. This cannot be. Jade was dead. I had watched her die from silver poisoning, I watched the light leave her eyes while Genesis Labs refused to help. She was gone and buried and nothing could change that. But the pup stared at Tehila with a look I recognized instantly. Cunning mixed with desperation, the exact look Jade used to get when she was cornered but still plotting escape. The similarities were too perfect, too specific to be a coincidence.

This time with green and purple eyeshadow.” Jade yipped like a little kid, “I LOVE THAT IDEA! WE SHOULD TOTALLY DO THAT!” Jett laughed and looked at me, “Yeah, you are so fucked, bro.’ Then my dad asked, “So why is Giselle here and what more has happened?”

He thrashed violently, his screams animalistic, until one of them jabbed a syringe into his neck. His body went rigid before convulsing uncontrollably, his wild eyes rolling back. Jade came forward. “So many things I’m going to do with the two of you,” she murmured, a twisted sort of excitement lighting up her features. “The amount of humans that will benefit from my project...” She inhaled sharply, like the thought alone was intoxicating.

The name stabbed through me like a knife. “Oh, don’t look so heartbroken,” Lila said, turning her mocking pout in my direction. “Did she really think Elaine liked her? Poor Jade, so gullible.” Her words hit harder than the rest. “She was just pretending,” Cora added, loud enough to draw more attention. “She told my mother she thought it was funny to see how Jade followed her around like a lost dog.”

Some where in her heart, she was glad April was not at the scene or else she would have been in the hospital right now. The crowd began to part Jade held her poor breath. "Please dear God let it not be her" she prayed silently. Then between the parted space came a sandy blond-haired girl, in mini shorts, a crop top, and heels, she wore a dirty smirk and a bad glint in her eyes. She was smiling as sweetly as Jade. "April Wilson" Jade felt cold goose bumps creep up her spine, as she felt every bit of her fear hit her thrice.
