The lost Mafia princess

The lost Mafia princess

Elizabeth point of View Elizabeth sat on the cold metal chair in her uncle’s office, her wrists bound tightly with thick, rough ropes. The small, dim room felt stifling, her every breath short and sharp, laced with worry. She didn’t know where she was, and each second spent in this eerie silence amplified her fear. Uncle Nick had been keeping her here, away from everything and everyone, and she knew he enjoyed every second of her torment.

Nanny and the Alpha Daddy

Nanny and the Alpha Daddy(His Nanny Mate)

Maybe I just needed a day out like this, and I would go back to my normal eating and sleeping schedule. “Is this where you grew up?” Ella asked as we walked toward the front door together. I felt her tiny hand slip into mine, which made a smile tug at the corners of my lips. “Yes,” I replied. I looked up at the orphanage, taking in its appearance. It was a large Victorian house that was once beautiful, but had fallen into a slowly worsening state of disarray some years ago when the government cut funding for human-centric social programs. Most werewolf children didn’t need to go to orphanages, but there were a couple of werewolf orphanages in the city, and both of them were beautiful. While

Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!

Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!

"Elizabeth is an orphan, both of her parents died when she was very young. Her relatives turned on her and she was left to fend for herself and her younger sister alone. "She is only nineteen years old. She doesn't go to school but tries to fund her younger one's fees. All she has is this job and the pay, big as it is, is very little to cover all of their expenses." Hearing that, my heart sank lower into an abyss. How could she be left alone in the world? Not only does she have to fend for herself but her younger sister as well??? The woman continued, her words making me stare at her in anger. "Which is why I am so surprised and confused as to why she would play with her job like this!"

because these papers fuelled his pride and lack of modesty. “I manage this orphanage for two decades. Two decades when over two hundred children came to live here. Two hundred and seventeen children more exactly. And of these children, only fourteen left sooner, killed by various diseases.” He turned quickly and looked at Mr. Benjamin, smiling: “You know this means less than ten per cent.” “A little over six per cent actually ... but that's less important. Poor children ...” “And for over seven years ... this little girl came to us. This Elizabeth Edwards. Who brought me more trouble than joy.

Terra Australis: Ethereal Secret

Terra Australis: Ethereal Secret

Eleya saw the crab as well and watched as it raised its claws before looking back at the road, conveying some sort of message. Isuzu and Eleya are lifelong friends who are living in an orphanage called the Holy Infant Orphanage located near the neutral town of Glenn Vista. Dragon's mate

Dragon's mate

Martha brought pizza and Jenny beer, Samantha their favorite potato chips, and Marie home-made cupcakes. Elizabeth and Martha grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and as soon as they graduated, they headed out to the Big Apple for college. They both got acceptance letters from desired colleges, and they didn’t even waste a single second. Elizabeth even got a scholarship, which made it possible for her to find a decent single-bedroom apartment that she managed to keep even today. Couple of part-time jobs that she took during her studies paid off, so she was at least at peace regarding her living arrangements.

Elizabeth's transformation is brilliant! Author's writing carries readers interest until the end and captures their hearts. Was rooting for them from the start. The ending is well deserved... Moving on to the sequel. Thank you for their story.

I don’t like the fact that she accepted and let him off the hook for kidnapping her just like that! You can’t just go around kidnapping people and drugging them and then expect them to fall in love with you in a couple of days. It just seems so wrong.

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

That way, he would be able to help them to solve this problem when the time comes. Charlie nodded slightly before he said, “Then, let’s go in and take a look around the orphanage.” Stephanie was overjoyed. She hurriedly grabbed Charlie’s arm before she dragged him into the orphanage. Charlie could only allow her to drag him around as he held onto his wife, Claire’s hand. Claire could feel her heart beating a little faster, but she allowed Charlie to continue holding her hand as he led her into the orphanage. The Aurous Hill Welfare Institute was built in the last century and had a very long history. The buildings here were all relatively low brick buildings, and each building was already dec

Shattered Reflections

Shattered Reflections

The orphanage was nestled in a quiet corner of the city, an old building with cracked walls and faded paint. The children who lived there spoke in hushed voices, their dreams and hopes often muted by the harsh realities of their young lives. Among them was a girl who had long since learned to keep her wishes to herself, a girl who had never known the warmth of a family or the comfort of a home. Her name was Elara.

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA PRINCE

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA PRINCE

I inquire softly, a pang of worry striking me as I consider the possibility of Miss Lucy running the whole show alone. I mean, she always has - but like she’d said, I used to be her little helper. "Oh, you know, the usual. The kids are more quarrelsome these days—over porridge, chores, even beds. A section of the orphanage collapsed recently, so we had to relocate everyone to the sitting room, and there aren't enough beds to go around. Even the sick children can't get sufficient food to balance their medications because someone's been stealing food at night. Things have gotten worse since you left, but it's good that you're experiencing better circumstances," she smiles warmly, as if relieve

Finally finished the book. It’s morphed a lot along the way, with many twists and turns from the original bully storyline. Sera has stupid spunk. They both mature as the story progresses. Overall great ending but would have liked arty to have flexed his new muscles instead of just sera

This book is chefs kiss. This is one of the few books we’re the main female character isn’t a push over. She doesn’t always make the best decisions put she makes the tough one. The whole story line flows well and each character has a unique story behind them. I cannot wait when the book is completed
