Vivian let out a sound somewhere between a squeal and a gasp. “Oh, my god. Who have you been hiding? You’ve got a secret rich man somewhere?” Rose shot her a look. “I went back to the fights last night,” she said. “And I won.” Lyon, still standing there, let out a low breath. “That explains it,” he said. “You’re the Wild Rose.” His gaze sharpened. “No wonder you rattled my man.” Luke appeared from the back, stopping short as he took in the scene. “Since when did this place turn into a flower shop?”

“Lots of things. It’s strange what you think about when you suddenly realize how little you’ve done in life and you’re sure you’re going to die.” “What?” he asked again. Ellie sighed. “I was just starting a small side business when James kidnapped me. It wasn’t big, but it was slowly growing. I was sorry I hadn’t started it earlier so I could see how people liked my products.” She paused before adding, “And I’ve never really been in love, or had a guy crazy enough to actually romance me.” She’d never gotten flowers or a fancy dinner. “And I’ve never been kissed so passionately that I forgot the rest of the world and came out of it breathless,” she admitted quietly.

If that makes me a bitch, then so be it. "Look," Ellie put her blonde hair behind her ear nervously, "I am sorry you have to get detention cos of Rosie’s story. I didn’t know why she’d made that up, but I came to the Principal’s office as soon as I heard and explained everything.”

I continued, trying to change the topic. Rose shrugged. “I dunno. He’s always kind of callus, but today he was straight up moody.” I rolled my eyes. “I bet it’s mate problems. Ellie is a bitch.” Rose whirled around to look at me. “Ellie is his mate?” she shrieked. “I knew they had some weird fuck buddies thing going on, but she’s his mate?” I looked around, checking to make sure no one was listening. “You didn’t know?”

After she finished changing her clothes, she directly went to her car and drove home with Ellie. Ellie Gill is from the countryside and left her home because she couldn't handle the toxicity around her. She spat acidly. “You’re pregnant?!why didn’t you say?”. Rose gasped. "Congratulations. I’m going to be an aunt soon”. She beamed. Arya stared at Ellie speechless. She didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Maybe cry because she knew she’d never set her sights on this one as well unless Cesar forgave her which was like... impossible. “Congratulations Ellie.” She said. “Thank you." She said stiffly then looked back at the guy beseechingly. "Please.”
