Seems like an okay story…. But I absolutely hate it when the synopsis tells you the story will be about one thing and the story itself is about something completely different. I was really hoping for the story reflected in the overview, and 300 chapters in… it isn’t.

I really like this book, but I'm feeling sorry for Zachary. I wished they would soften Joey's personality up. She comes off cold. The author needs to bring them together soon and form an alliance and wrap this book up.

I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.
Blessing Sam-somanya
I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Nevertheless, Scott has always been one to embrace challenges, and he realizes that wooing Allegra won't be an easy feat. MARRYING MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCEE

MARRYING MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCEE

"She will come back," she promised. "She just needs time to sort her head out." "Not her heart?" The dry distinction made Charley wince. "I'm sure she loves you," she persisted. "She's just not ready to commit to marriage." If you just give her time, then I— Black eyebrows with a fascinating silken gloss gave her a curious look. "Are you actually standing there, Miss Jones, suggesting that I should wait for Adelina to sort her head out?" Well, was she? Lifting her chin, "If you love her—yes," she insisted. "Then you are a romantic fool because it is not going to happen." He moved suddenly, straightening away from the desk. "There is a wedding arranged for next Saturday morning, and I intend to make sure that it goes ahead." Without a bride? Charley stared at him. "You mean—you're going to find her and drag her back to marry you?" A silly kind of laugh left her throat at the very image of Adelina being dragged by this man down the church aisle, kicking and screaming. ‘No.’ Reaching behind him, his long fingers picked Adelina's letter up again—this time to fold it with slow, neat precision. "I mean to replace her with someone else."I want reparation for being taken for an idiot, and if that means putting you in Adelina's wedding dress and marrying you in her place, then that is what is going to happen."

Fated to the Enemy

Fated to the Enemy

Walking through the hall, my wedding dress on when I heard them, my own mate with another. He was to mark me on our wedding night but instead I kicked the door open, my wolf pressing to the surface as she growled out in anger as he pushed the Omega to floor of the room. "I reject you Beta! I, Dahlia Selene Knight, reject you Beta Christopher Lee Parker because you are an absolute piece of shit!" I felt the tether snap, he went to reach for me but I swung my dress around, turning and running down the hall then out the doors and into the woods. Tears streaming down my face as I ran when I run smack into a wall. Wait, he isn't a wall. Before I fall back onto the ground strong hands wrap around my waist, stopping me instantly, looking up to see the most beautiful honey colored eyes I'd ever seen before. Alpha Damien Allister Diaz, the Alpha to our rival pack, known to be the most ruthless of Alphas, he lost his mate 5 years ago when she was delivering their baby. They both passed and he became a monster to all the bedtime stories told to young wolves. "What have we here? And all dressed up to get married I see. This story is refreshingly captivating and all it's own, in the sense it has a fresh take on many aspects in regards to family, wolf dynamics and genuine love. The author does a very good job of portraying an actual genuine loving relationship and finding strength in that love. kudos to the author

Possession

Possession

"From today onwards, I will take every decision of your life. What you will eat, where will you go, when will you speak, what you will wear it will be all as I wish. And if you dare to defy me then till now it must have been crystal clear to you how far I can go to keep my words," his voice unsympathetic and cold, causing a shiver down her spine. Out of fear she was not even able to raise her head and kept her eyes casted down. He lifted her head up with his forefinger, underneath her chin and stared directly into her mesmerizing hazel eyes. "Understood?" Her throat was parched and her mouth was dry. Her tongue felt heavy in her mouth. The seam of her lips was cracked and pasted with each other and she couldn't find enough courage in herself to say anything using her tongue, so she just nodded and casted down her eyes again. He raised her chin more now with his forefinger and thumb, indicating her to look in his eyes and she did so. "Understood?" He asked again and raised both his eyebrows, warning her. "Yy....ye..ss" she croaked out. Her eyes were widened with fear and hands were fisting the bedsheet. Her cheeks were imprinted with red finger marks. "Good. Now take of your clothes and fulfill your duty" he ordered. She only pleaded him with her eyes. Clearly, she didn't want her wedding night to turn out like this.

“ Fuck the rules, Diana!” He snapped. “ Everyone knows the prophecy about you. You will never have a mate. That is your destiny. Besides, isn't that one of the reason we got together?” My heart sank when he mentioned the prophecy and I couldn't help the sting in my eyes and the pang I felt in my heart.“ We’ve been together for months now, and you were not convinced that it is appropriate for me to touch you and do things to your body?” He sneered and took an intimidating step forward, bridging the gap between us. At this point, I could feel his breath on my face, my heart palpitating in my chest. Something just doesn’t seem right.I feel my body temperature rising, heat emitting from my body, and sweat breaking out of my skin.“ I know you want me, Diana.” He coerced and tilted my chin upward with his gaze boring into my eyes.“ It’s all over you,”

I started this thinking here we go same as so many on the app. But seeing Michael realize things weren’t how he believed and taking a good look at himself was refreshing. Juliette and her struggles were handled in a way that she wasn’t shown as incompetent but handling her issues. Good read
Harper Blake
The book's complex language and spelling errors made it unclear at times. Dialogues were overly long, often feeling like therapy sessions, which could be boring. However, the sincere discussion of ADHD and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome showed the author's personal touch. Overall, I'm glad I read it.
