Alec placed a hand on my shoulder “Look at that, you’re a rogue like me. He's quiet so long I don't think he's going to respond, when he clears his throat saying, "You're on the Crimson Shadow Pack lands." My head whips back to where he's sitting as I intake a big gulp of air, my eyes going wide. These are the rogue pack lands. I try to recall everything I learned about rogues and pause when I remember where the lands are located, but there's no way I could be where I think I am. "Are we in Oregon?" But the rogue's eyes were already glazing over. He began to shake. I grabbed him by the collar, pulling him upright. My open palm cracked against the side of his face, trying to bring his attention back to me. "Stay with me. Who is he? What does he want?"

"That's him." A hooded figure slipped through the side door, looking over both shoulders before approaching us. "You came alone?" I asked. The man pulled back his hood, revealing a bruised face and a split lower lip. "They know someone's asking questions." Henry exchanged a glance with me. "Who?" The rogue shook his head. "I don't know." "You said you had proof." "I do." His trembling hands reached inside his heavy coat before producing a folded map and a flash drive.

“Try me.” He leaned forward slightly. “If I speak his name…” His voice dropped into a whisper. “…he’ll know.” Anton scoffed. “That’s not how names work.” The rogue smiled slowly. “For him… it is.” A strange chill ran down my spine.
