"I have the list of the people who are destined to die from that accident. I didn't find the names of her friends there,"Archillus explained. "Are you sure about that?" Emily approached Archillus. "Yes darling. I am absolutely one hundred and one percent sure." Archillus showed a confident smile. "Thank God. Thank god." Emily's worries suddenly changed into relief.

I always got what I wanted. I was amused when I remembered her eyes that wanted to burn me alive, a fire that I wanted to extinguish. I enjoyed challenges, and Emma's defiance sparked something within me. Just as I began to calm down, one of my men approached, his voice hesitant. "Boss, she's gone." I turned, exhaling smoke, my eyes narrowing, putting off the cigarette. "What?" "She escaped through the veranda into the garden," he replied, his eyes darting away.

She grabbed Alex by the arm and pulled him toward the nearest exit, “If you’re lying to me, you won’t make it out of here alive.” Outside, Marcus and Sam intercepted them, their faces grim, “What’s going on?” Marcus demanded. Emma didn’t answer, she pushed Alex toward the car, her mind racing. They needed to regroup, to figure out their next move but as they reached the vehicle, a deafening explosion rocked the warehouse, sending them all to the ground. As Emma fell, she hit her head hard on the ground and all she heard was muffled sounds, she tried to open her eyes but she couldn't until finally, the darkness enveloped her.

LIAM'S POV I never imagined Emily to be this wild in the dress. We walked side by side, not saying much until we got to the car. I opened the door and let her follow Xavier. The silence was awkward but I didn't know what to say right now since Xavier is here. But there were no actual tears in her eyes.

I tried to yank free, but he held tighter and ran his other hand through his hair, exhaling sharply. “I know it’s crazy, Riley, but we really need to leave now. You are starting school today, remember?” A loud scoff escaped my lips. Words won’t cut this out. I inhaled sharply, and while he concentrated on my expression, I went for his arm. Clenching my teeth sharply against it, he yanked off. Douchebag. I sprinted off to the ward immediately, and my face turned to horror. Where is she? I turned back at Killian, who was already a few steps away from me, then at the door opposite me. As I lunged ahead, his hands gripped me hard, slamming me against the wall as his gaze bored through me.

Her eyes opening a little. “I threw it to him.”She added faintly.. “alongside the poison.” “I will go get it then.”Lincoln replied, helping Luna Mitchell gets into the ambulance. But just before they were able to close the door of the car, Jerome voice came behind them charging his sword towards Emma. Ryan quickly slid inbetween him and Emma and the sword pushed it way into his abdomen. A little space from Emma. The sword push through out of his back. Chloe run foward towards him and threw her dagger at Jerome. It hist his head and he fall down dead.

His breathing was heavy, and his dark eyes burned with something between anger and panic. I sat up slowly, stretching my arms. “Good morning to you too.” “Don’t play dumb, Emmeline,” he snapped. “I know what you did.” I tilted my head, rubbing my eyes lazily. “What exactly do you think I did?” His jaw clenched. “Jeremy is dead. His body was found this morning. Blood everywhere.” His voice lowered, his hands tightening into fists. “What did you do to him last night?” I smiled, the memory flashing through my mind like a sweet dream.

Please, don’t do this… I, Emily, reject you as my mate. The pain ripped through me harder, maybe because I loved him the most. The guards walked inside to take them. Liam slammed into one and took his hunting knife. Everything happened in seconds, and I saw my death in slow motion. Liam lunged toward me, his eyes dark with hatred, and drove the knife into my heart. Pain exploded through my chest as I gasped for air. Salem, realizing what was happening, broke free from a guard and raced to my side. He pressed his back against mine, but Liam, wild and unstoppable, forced the knife deeper, the blade passing through me and into Salem. In that instant, I understood: he killed us both.
