I didn’t know what magic smelled like, but this room felt like it had some. I stepped inside slowly, looking around like the brave warrior princess I pretended to be when I played with my dolls. So many books. Stacks and stacks of them, tall and wide and thick and dusty. I touched one of the shelves, my fingers dragging over the wooden surface until I stopped in front of one really old-looking book with gold edges. The title was shiny. “The Flare Witches.” Oooooh. That sounded cool.

I stretched the wood pure. She nods and lifts her head." I promise it will be done before dawn Queen." She turns to leave. "Wait." I called out. Slowly she turns around, her eyes wide. "Yes queen?" She murmurs on a terrified breath. "That witch Rue, her cat which has turned into a human, has the book of spells I have been trying to obtain. That smart little fucker has learned a few things from his witch. He has been masking where he's hiding." I speak, my eyes flashing in anger.

“Yes, Chief.” That after, Arth followed Jade up towards the second floor. Getting closer, he could smell the sweet, musky scent of the old books from the library. His entire life he had never been in a place filled with books and extremely tall shelves, as Frostwood had no library, and he hadn’t tried visiting the ones in Casterfall and in the capital. The codes can come in different forms but one of the most popular ones is the enchanted book giving a particular task to a wolf before the wolf can unlock the book,” I read out loud to myself

Elena said and walked to where to where the book was, at first I didn't see anything until she enchanted a spell. Turns out the book was covered in an invisibility spell. "Esmay I don't what we are dealing with so be on alert, there's a lot of books in here, irreplaceable books, if one catches fire they will be lost forever." Elena said.

I really feel that, if we bind her, beating Bartholomew will be like child’s play,” I said. “What about the aliens he works with?” Abigail said. “I don’t believe there are any,” I replied. “I think that was a ruse to take our focus off magic.”

I loved going up the staircase, so that was where my books were kept. I didn’t expect it to still be there—I was just curious what was—but I was shocked to find it fully stocked. The young adult novels still sat, but the collection had expanded to two shelves. Classics from Charlotte Brontë and Jane Austen, the entire Harry Potter series, and many others lined up together.
