A WEAK SLAVE

A WEAK SLAVE

Selene was a beautiful deity, with silvery blonde hair that cascaded down to her feet, skin so white it seemed almost translucent, and eyes that shone like gold. She was in command of the moon and was given the power to create lycanthropes, which were creatures that had the ability to transform into wolves. These lycanthropes were bestowed with incredible power and were considered responsible for protecting the gates of Olympus from mortals. One day, while patrolling and supervising the lycanthropes, Selene encountered a curious human. She fell madly in love with the mortal, whose name was Endymion. He, who was after Hera's love, begged Zeus to allow him an eternal sleep, that he was ageless

Quiescence

Quiescence

That girl was definitely not elegant but her name was as beautiful as her. "Let her in," I commanded. "Ah, S-she left already, my lord." Lucas looked baffled when he realized he did something that might anger me. I stood up and hurriedly went out. I could not help but sighed a relief when I saw her not very far away. I moved inhumanely fast and she was surprised to see me in front of her. "Whoa! You scared me, Mister." "My name is Endymion." "Endymion..." She whispered my name softly like she was in deep thought. "Your name sound familiar... Aw, crap! I can't remember it." She slapped her forehead in frustration.

A Goddess Gifted by Fate

A Goddess Gifted by Fate

“A long time ago, before the time of the wolf, the world was quiet and peaceful. During the day the human folk worked hard to farm their land and sow their crop. The children would run and play in the sunlight and humankind thrived. Though, alone in the sky sat the beautiful Selene, the Goddess of the moon. Every night she would ride her dragon chariot across the sky to bring the moon to the people. But as the sun fell and the night sky spread across the land, she became lonely, as the humans would sleep through her glorious night sky. Night after night she searched the land for signs of any human that would splendour in her nighttime hours, but none did. Until one night she came across a lo

Shattered Bonds

Shattered Bonds

She is known to the elven community as GoldMoon. Previous generations of humans understood that supernatural beings existed, and they made up their stories of gods and goddesses to explain them. The Greeks felt that the Ceryneian Hind was sacred to Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. However, it was really the elves that treated GoldMoon like she was sacred. She has lived with us for many generations.

THE UNMATED

THE UNMATED

Grace THE CURSE It was the 13th year of Lord Endymion rule. Lord Endymion decided to take for himself a wife among the goddesses. He arranged a character test, a royalty test and even an intellectual test and at the end only Selene the moon goddess proved herself worthy enough to be his Queen. He took Selene as his Queen and showered her with everything he had and Lord Endymion had everything on the face of the earth. Selene loved Lord Endymion with every fibre of her being because he treated her with respect and took his time to win her heart.

There is also a catch, hunters are immune to these special abilities, as they were created by Selene’s ex-lover Endymion because she chose to never have a Mate of her own as she feared abandonment, so her children became her true love. It is said that she drives the chariot that carries the moon across the universe and occasionally visits her children/ direct descendants and Endymion spends his nights mapping out the stars trying to find her, he created hunters out of jealousy to hunt down her children (werewolves) that roam the night under her light (the moon) to get revenge and make her pay for choosing them over him.

Fantasy's Eden

Fantasy's Eden

In my horrified gaze as I was spun away from certain doom I took in the imagery of a huge dog, hyena like beast as it scrambled out onto the rocky promontory where I had just been standing. It desperately fought to hold its momentum, but there were too many loose stones and with claws scraping it went over the edge with a howling screech. That wasn’t the end of it though. Taino was spinning back the other way and I was being spun along with him even as a second snarl erupted from somewhere close by. I watched as spear in hand he drove it into the breast of another of the hyena like creatures. A third beast leaped forward and literally bit through the shaft of the spear impaling the heart of

A Daughter’s Revenge

A Daughter’s Revenge

“The true story of Endymion is a story of enduring love.” Asteria begins. “Even through his endless slumber, the love between Selene and Endymion did not wane. Some stories have him as a shepherd, some a prince or King, others a hunter. What he was matters little, all the stories agree he was stunningly handsome.” “To be the lover of an actual Goddess I would assume you would have to be stunningly handsome.” I giggle. “A Goddess can choose anyone.”

Descendant of the moon goddess.

Descendant of the moon goddess.

Jayden whispers in shock. My head is pounding and I feel dizzy. Tara is Keturah, the moon goddess. The woman who has been helping me all this while is the moon goddess? I always knew she was different, but it never occurred to me. “Keturah, blessed goddess, mother of our kind, it's an honour to have you in our midst”, Kreed says, going one knee. Everybody in the room does the same including, Jayden. I keep sitting, trying my best to see through the tears that have clouded my vision.

LUNA REIGN

LUNA REIGN

I read it aloud. Dante strolled over to the shelf and returned with a book with the same word as it's title. It was a more recent book. He flipped through the pages and stopped. "The Menae are fifty children of the moon goddess and the human king Endymion, the modern time say they represent the fifty months of the Olympiad cycle." he read aloud. "Let me see that," Axel took the book from Dante while Dante went to get another from the same shelf. We all started searching for books that describe the Menae.
