I saw Lane nearing and it was the best view I could have before my eyes gave up. I closed my eyes confidently. I knew Lane was there. I knew I'd be safe from harm. I knew he'd save me. It didn't fathom in me if I died or survived. I was just content with the thought that he was there. And he was the last person I saw. Cold air passed through my nostrils like I haven't breathed in a very long time. Then the scent of medicine and chemicals went in next. I coughed lightly as my eyelids slowly opened. I felt an warm hand caressed my palm as I blinked a couple times to clear my vision.

With a kiss on my forehead and a smile brought to my face. Epilogue starts now... new chapter up tomorrow so sorry this is taking so long!

The End! Next will be Epilogue. It was an amazing journey with you guys. I always wanted to do a revenge project where girl fights back equally. And I did it. The epilogue chapters will be uploaded soon, if I have anything to say about it. It's been two years since I wrote this story; I've had to dig up my old outlines and remind myself what I planned to do with them for the true ending. I've also started writing a different story available here on Goodnovel. I want to be careful not to accidentally cross wires and write in the different characters' voices and styles. Forsaken Mate deserves to be honored correctly. And you wonderful readers deserve the epilogue that was promised, not something slapped together and half-remembered.
