Marked (Mortal, Book Four)

Marked (Mortal, Book Four)

I take a step closer, my eyes lingering on the ancient letters adorning the cover. "It doesn't look like nothing," I say softly. "What is it?" Lavinia sighs, her shoulders slumping in defeat. "It's a book of spells, Winter. Dark magic. I found it in the forest a few... well, I don't know when. It's been years, though. I've been trying to understand it, figure out what it does. I thought I might find something in here that could help you locate your friend." My eyes widen. "Really?"

Mend My Broken Heart

Mend My Broken Heart

"This holds the origins of Eclisia, the prophecy, and the tale of the pendant." Hesitating for a moment, I reached out and touched the tome. It felt warm, pulsating with an energy that seemed to resonate with my very being. Richard's voice echoed in my mind, *"We're ready. Together."* Taking a deep breath, I opened the book. Images, sounds, and emotions washed over me. Scenes of a world long forgotten, of love and betrayal, power and sacrifice, played out. Lysandra narrated, "Centuries ago, Eclisia was a realm where time itself danced to the whims of its inhabitants. But with great power came great envy."

Light & Darkness: Book 4

Light & Darkness: Book 4

- the grandmother explained. - Ah, I guess I understand everything much better now...- Miyuki said quietly, analyzing and arranging the whole story in her head, adding to it all reluctant expressions Kai and Aoi had on their faces when mentioned each other. - Since then, Kai and Aoi have been engaged in a constant rivalry, which more than once or twice could turn into a war, fortunately stopped by the forces of both vampires and wizards, who so far did not needed such a battle.- continued her grandmother, staring somewhere in the distance.- There was even relative peace for a while, but when you appeared on the horizon, the conflict flared up again. The fact that so far you have not clearly

Fated to the King of Dragons (book 3 of the APOD SERIES)

Fated to the King of Dragons (book 3 of the APOD SERIES)

she hummed, a swirl of a dark cloud dancing around her fingertips. Legion remained stoic, steady eyes searching hers with the utmost displeasure. A foot apart from the witch seemed to be drowning his senses in the foul stench by which dark magic left. Something that displeased both him and Xeric. "If I did desire a play of magic into certain things, I would certainly not be foolish enough to opt for the darkest of its kind," Legion gritted, lifting his gaze from the witch. His eyes darted to the closed door, "Not while you hold a prisoner behind this very door."

I recently found your series, and actually fell in love with the story line. I'm an avid reader and waiting for updates is driving me crazy. I found book 2 first, finished that, found book 1, reread book 2, found book 3 on a different site, is caught up, and waiting for updates.

Sealed In Darkness

Sealed In Darkness

"Even our brothers sell us off for cheap change, and the battle our fathers from century fought and conquered, are the what in an ensemble we turn a blind eyes to, yet we suffer with gritting teeth." The hope for a utopia, was immersed in despair. The leadership was as it has always been in a typical dilapidated era, ruled by only power hungry lords. Ekryons, are the names of the emperors who ruled the four continents -Empire- that survived the last war: the servants of the god Ekron.

The Reaver Chronicles: The Keepers (Book 5)

The Reaver Chronicles: The Keepers (Book 5)

I nodded and with tears in my eyes proceeded to walk back to Rowen. I turned to face her one last time. “Thank you so much!” I said to Hilda, and then I linked my arm in Rowen’s. I held my hand, palm up, calling for my Box. Once it was floating beautifully in my palm, I took my free hand that was linked within Rowen’s arm, and touched my Box. Instantly we were being hurdled forward with a gut wrenching pull. I knew this was us being thrown from my realm into our realm. Inter-dimensional travel was intense, for lack of a better word. We ended up falling straight into a body of water with a large splash.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

A Kingdom of Corruption and Chaos

A Kingdom of Corruption and Chaos

I quickly fished it back out of my bag before handing it over to him. He quickly read back through the mission before shaking his head as he went over to one of his bookcases and pulled out a large rolled piece of parchment. As he set it on the desk, I moved to stand behind it with him as he unrolled the map, setting a couple of heavy books along the edges to hold it in place before looking over it for a long moment with a sigh. Lexi and Genie both came up to the other side of the desk to see what we were looking at as we all looked over the map, just as Xavier pointed out Celestia's capital city of Elysium.

The Heir of the Light

The Heir of the Light

I rambled on. “You have the same auras but yours is brighter. Every ruler of the Underworld has to be an heir of the Light.” I understood nothing from what Mismaia told me. I know it’s probably a serious matter but I just can’t wrap my head around it. I was just cooking mini donuts and waffles like a second ago. I get minimum wage and she’s telling me I’m practically like royalty. “I wanna believe you. This is just not normal for me.” She held my hand. I swiped it away. “I’m sorry.”

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

The Eleven Sovereigns were no longer pillars or avatras; they were Free, their laughter sounding like the first morning of the world. Eryx stood beside me, his Lament-Steel armor settling into a beautiful, jagged violet-black that pulsed with the steady beat of a wolf who had finally found his home. He pulled me into a kiss that tasted of ancient pine, iron, and the Weight of One-Hundred Victories. "We’ve hit the century, Darlene," Eryx whispered, his crimson eyes filled with a terrifying, absolute love. "No," I said, looking toward the horizon, where the folded sky was opening into a massive, spiraling Nexus of Five-Hundred Gates.
