Look at those broad shoulders and that perfectly sculpted body,” my mom whispered as we walked out of the building toward Eric’s car. “Mom, seriously,” I chuckled. “I thought you’ve changed.” “I haven’t, honey, and I’m glad I’m here to make you laugh until you forget you have a bad mother-in-law who needs therapy sessions,” she whispered again, and I shook my head. “With you around, I don’t think I’ll ever remember being sad,” I muttered, and she nodded.

I closed my eyes and spoke softly to Eren. "It wasn't suicide. But your Mom was murdered." I knew Eren would show that kind of reaction. His face was so pale. He looked like he had just seen a ghost. Eren couldn't even speak. "What did you say? My Mom is a pure werewolf. Was she murdered? By whom? Why?" Eren demands more answers.
