I felt my chest tighten. “Her name’s Tina,” he said, eyes lighting up. “She’s beautiful. I think she’s the one.” I forced a smile, though my heart was cracking. He’d said that same line before—about other girls who never lasted. But something about the way he said this one made my stomach twist. Then he added, almost casually, “She’s Eric’s sister.” I froze. Eric. The notorious playboy. The man who left a trail of broken hearts wherever he went.

I spin around to find a woman I haven't seen before coming around from the side of the house. She is tall and thin. Jet black hair and milky white skin in stark contrast. Her eyes are a fiery red which is the only difference from her brother. She looks just like Thanatos. “Eris.”

My body tenses instantly. I don’t know her. I don’t trust anyone. But her smile—it isn’t threatening. It’s gentle, almost shy. “Hey,” she says softly, voice melodic and soothing. “You’re awake. That’s… really good.” I stare at her, unsure if I should speak. My throat feels raw, my lips dry. “I’m Hannah,” she says, as if sensing my hesitation. “Hannah Williams. I… I’m Eric’s younger sister.” I blink, taking in her features. There’s a striking resemblance, the same sharp green eyes, the same fiery red hair. My mind flashes—Eric. The Alpha who saved me. My chest tightens at the memory of him holding me when I was so weak, so terrified.

She would rather pretend she was someone else, Erina Sanders, than claim her old life which would put her son in danger as well. "A lover?" she asked, trying to act like she was clueless. "Oh no..." Erik chuckled a bit. "My sister." Sister? But I haven't told them the truth. And they all know Erina Remington died. So why would she look for her? "She looked like you too," Erik pointed out. "Really?" she asked, acting like a bit of a shock, but she could really sense that the one whom she was looking for was her. Erik nodded. "Yes. And her name is Erina."

He deserved the truth, even if it might complicate things. I took a step closer, lowering my voice. “Nathan... she’s not Damian’s ex.” He tilted his head. “No?” “No,” I said gently. “She’s his sister.” His eyes widened. “His what?” “His sister,” I repeated. “Charlotte. She doesn’t advertise it, for reasons that are... hers. But yes. She’s family.” There was a long silence. Nathan’s face shifted through several expressions—surprise, confusion, then something like relief.

"You… You really were reborn! I know that you only chose Seth out of defiance. You're going to regret it!" I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how radiant I was. I said coldly, "Regret? Why would I regret it? "Andon, know your place. I'm your sister-in-law now, and if you keep being rude, I'll tell your older brother so that he can teach you how to behave." Andon was rendered speechless. He could not do anything except lower his voice and say threateningly, "Do you think you have an advantage over me because you're with Seth?

I couldn't fall. The figure glanced back. Even through the mask, I could see their eyes widen. They hadn't expected me to follow. They'd expected me to stand by the lake, screaming and crying, the way normal people would. But I wasn't normal. I was Alice's sister. And I was done being scared. "You can't outrun me!" I yelled. "I've been running my whole life!" The figure veered left, toward the old maintenance shed near the edge of campus. I'd seen it before, a crumbling building covered in vines, its windows boarded up, its door rusted shut.

Nathan lifts my chin with his finger, making me meet his eyes. "You are stunning, you know that, right?" He mutters. My cheeks flush. Before I can speak, my phone buzzes in my hand. I open it, expecting a text, but instead, it is a notification that my sister has tagged me in an Iñstagram post. A line appears between my brows. It is odd for my sister to tag me in a post. She has never done that before. “ I am sorry,” I mumble to Nathan. I open my sister's post. My heart misses a beat. It is a recent photo dump of her and Aiden, who is wearing the same clothes from before he ditched me.
