She turned around and walked into the meeting room again, banging the door behind her. Erika somehow got up even if her cheek felt swollen. It didn't matter that Ms Mary was old, her bony hands were perfect for a slap. She didn't even know why she was admiring a woman who had just hit and humiliated her. Something must be seriously wrong with her or.. she was dazed. She was just about to make her way back to her room with slightly wobbly feet when she heard footsteps behind her and instinctively, she was just about to duck when she heard a familiar voice rushing towards her.

Adding this she slowly stepped to the side walking past the brooding teen. Unexpectedly, Jeremy crossed paths with the two on his way out of class, pausing for a brief second as he heard Erika’s understandable words, before forcefully continuing along with an indifferent expression. Britney however, quickly strode in front of the girl followed by her minions, preparing to either boast or flaunt her relationship status, but already maxed out with her level of tolerance for the annoying bratty plastics, Erika voiced out first, “how’s your fingers? Are they too heavy for your hands?”

Professional and strong. Only I knew how fragile I felt underneath. As I opened my door, my first prayer slipped out silently. Please don’t let me run into Vincent and fate, for once, listened. I walked down the hallway, past the grand stairs, through the wide living area, there was no Vincent. Relief washed over me, light and quick but it didn’t last. It was Erika. She stood near the entrance, perfectly dressed, perfectly calm. Her eyes lifted the moment she saw me, and a smile formed on her lips that never reached her eyes.

Jane said, walking towards her, worried she might trip and fall on her belly. She reached Erica and without hesitation, Erica leaped as she tried to hug Jane—but her huge belly got in the way. “Ugh, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this,” Erica said, laughing as she looked down at her protruding belly. “I’ve missed you so much Jane. We didn't get to exchange numbers.” Jane gave her a lopsided grin, “Yeah, my bad. I was gonna ask Liam, but…” Jane replied, bending closer to whisper, “He’s been in a pissy mood.”

I bit my lip. "I really don't have an appetite." Erika turned without another look at me and stepped out of the room. "Elena," she said evenly, "you know that's not an excuse." The words sounded less like a response and more like an order that left no room for refusal. I lowered my head for a moment before reaching for the crutches leaning against the bed. Limping with slow, uneven steps, I followed Erika downstairs. Each time my left foot touched the floor, pain shot from my ankle to my calf. Still, I said nothing.

They were afraid to make a sound. My gaze flicked to Anna. She was biting her lip. I chuckled before saying, "Now that the truth is out, shouldn't we also get to the bottom of what happened with that first result?" Every head turned toward her, causing her to jolt. Her glare had vanished into pitiful tears.

Over the past four years, I still caught pieces of news about her through other people's conversations and screens in public places even when I did not have a television or a phone. She was doing great after she left me. In just four years, she had already become the CEO of a publicly traded company, openly displaying her love for Marvin as their wedding date drew closer. I had thought that I would only be able to see Anna on television or in magazines for the rest of my life… Until I met her again a few days ago. Seeing her after four years felt like a dream come true. The instant I saw her, all the longing I had suppressed for so long came rushing out.

adding, "I needed help because I had to go downstairs to the comfort room for an emergency because I had bad foot soreness." Something uncomfortable and awkward seeps into her voice. As soon as Teddy heard her, he slowly got up from where he had been lying next to John and moved toward her bedroom with the door open. Ericka is writhing in excruciating pain and tries not to let anyone touch her hurting feet. Her normal foot follows the one that hurts as she slowly and gently lifts it down the bed. She is also sporting a twisted expression and her long, straight, tangled hair, all while having her pajamas folded up to her knees.

I hear Tanya ask. Hope looks at me. “Can she meet you?” “Erika Edwards wants to meet me? Who am I to say no?” I say, making both women giggle. I watch as Hope shifts where she was sitting on the bed and a moment later, Erika’s face enters the video, resting on Hope's shoulder. I’ve never seen her look so natural. Without all the makeup and the glam, she looks at lot younger. “Oh my god, he's gorgeous!” she says, and now it’s my turn to chuckle. “Sorry. I wasn’t expecting …Wow.”

he kissed her neck from behind and heard her giggle. Erica stood straight and sighted the target far from her hanging on a wood. “do you want to march?“ He laughed out. " Honey!“ Erica exclaimed like a baby " Okay, you know I was joking, so as I was saying, Face your target and stand with your feet shoulder-width apart” he said as she did " Now, Take a step forward with your non-dominant foot to stagger your stance” he said and slowly trailed his hands on her waist.
