Moriarty led me to the hotel’s balcony where the cityscape can be seen.
“Is this private enough?” He asked and went to the table of wines at the corner. He poured himself a glass.
“Yes,” I said and filled my lungs with air before I continued. “You’re right, I’m pregnant, but I’m not asking you to take responsibility for it. It was just a one-night stand, and I can raise my child alone.”
“Our child,” he corrected, eyeing me darkly. “And no, you can’t raise the child alone. That is my blood, Lily Clarks. My kid will grow up as a Moriarty and I will raise him or her.”
