The leader signaled for her to remain seated and she gladly obeyed considering how much pain she was in. When the leader got to where she was, she smiled at Esther. "How do you feel now?" The leader asked her.

Esther's body suddenly fell to the ground, helplessly weak. However, the black aura still enveloped the surroundings. Esther slowly got up and started to walk, although she was limping, she still tried to stand up. The sound of footsteps approached, then Esther felt her arms being embraced. The woman turned her head to find Abigail standing on the right side. "Abigail?" Esther struggled to make a sound to greet Abigail. "Don't make a sound. Let me take you to the corner!"

Chapter 018 Mrs Williams, (Esther's Mom's) POV It felt late. I rose from the bed, yawning and stretching. My body has been rough and heavy lately. It's getting dusky outside as I open the window curtains. Still groggy from the long sleep, I changed into jeans and a t-shirt, then headed straight down to the kitchen to make some food before Esther returned. I started washing that pot when I heard Esther's voice from behind. It was almost a snarl.

Esther pauses for a second and then says, “Look, I have nothing to do with any of this directly. I am not asking you to let me go or give me blood. Just get me some food, it will make me feel a little less miserable.
