This is a remarkable work. The author laid it in a super comprehensive manner with highly descriptive words, thus, the every events just keep on popping in my head like they are being performed in front of my eyes. Also, the plot is full of surprising turns. Dive in to this novel for an adventure.

The story line is good, but the grammatical errors are far too distracting. This is a great first rough draft as it pulls you in. It beckons the reader to continue on with a sense of curiosity. I do have to put it down multiple times in order to break myself away from the frustration with errors.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

The secret city (Primogentius series Book 1)

The secret city (Primogentius series Book 1)

It was more emotional than physical but that didn't stop me from wanting to close my eyes and shut out the world around me. I had finished reading through the first few chapters of the book on the creation of the city the night before, chapter one had been a summary, sparse on details but informative none the less but chapter two started at the beginning, giving more detail than I could have imagined about how the shields and veils used their abilities to create the barrier and listing all the problems they encountered along the way. If nothing else, it had given me a good idea of the limitations of the race’s abilities.

the man said, bowing. Looking around, I realized that no one was here except for the two of us. “Are you referring to me?” I asked. The man nodded. “Well, I'm no great one. My name is Alyssa, just Alyssa.” The man shook his head. “I know that is not your name.” “So why did you call me that?” I asked, puzzled. The man closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "She is gifted with thunder. The elements of nature are hers with it, she brings chaos or peace; as danger lurks around, feasting on the souls of the innocent, the world awaits her reign."

The second piece was just the same as the first, but adding more detail and background after they viewed their mistakes in the first. "Taking both of these." Ren rolled them up. "I take it as an illustration of your old home?" Two gave him a sad nod. "Hmm, ok. Come along now." Ren pulled the book to him and started to read as they walked. They made it out of the courtyard when Zero and Three ran up. "Can we come as well, Master?" Zero asked. Three just looked on excitied.

Shadow's Essence

Book 2: Crown of Shadows Chapter 1: The Departure The carriage door closed with finality that echoed through her chest like a death knell. Through crystal-clear windows enhanced with court magic far beyond territorial capabilities, she watched Shadoweave's spires fade into pre-dawn mist. Each familiar landmark disappeared with the inexorable permanence of choices that couldn't be unmade.

Nanny and Her Four Alpha Bullies

Nanny and Her Four Alpha Bullies

But I won’t read chapter 6. I open the book and start at chapter 1. People are talking. That’s nice. That’s great. I check my clock. It’s already been 5 minutes. Do I really want to waste my alone time with talking when I bought this book for one singular purpose? Sighing with disappointment at my own lack of self-control, I flip the book open to chapter 6. The chapter starts with a woman on her bed. Her lover binds her hands to the headboard with a soft length of red rope.

It’s frustrating when an author starts a new book and posts it chapter by chapter yet never finishing all the other books she has posted. As of count now there are 7 completed books and 11 unfinished books. Not sure if she’s doing to make her readers mad or she’s ADHD and can’t focus. Very selfish!

What happened?? Why is this book not being updated?? I read for couple of months following regularly and all of a sudden you stop publishing, wasting my money, time and effort. This is totally unacceptable and wrong on your part.

Frequently Asked Questions

The thing everyone forgets is how shockingly grounded that first page feels. You open 'A Game of Thrones' expecting this grand fantasy epic, but instead you get three rangers of the Night's Watch venturing into the haunted forest beyond the Wall. It's cold, quiet, and tense. Will, the point-of-view character, is just trying to do his job, tracking some wildlings, when he finds them dead in a strange, ritualistic pattern. He sees a man in black next to a weirwood, which seems off, but then... the man turns his head. His eyes are blue, shining with cold. That’s the White Walker, though the book just calls him 'the Other'. It’s a masterful bit of quiet horror, setting up the existential threat before we ever see a throne. Gared, the veteran, just bolts in terror, which feels so human. The chapter ends with Will waiting, utterly still in the tree, listening to the silence, and you know nothing good is coming. It’s such a bleak, efficient way to establish that this world has rules, and the supernatural is a brutal, unforgiving part of it. You’re not in a safe fairy tale.

Honestly, I skimmed that bit on my first read. I was impatient for the dragons and the politics in King’s Landing. It wasn't until a re-read after watching the show’s iconic opening that I appreciated the sheer economy of it. Martin lays out the central, looming danger in a handful of pages, then spends thousands showing us a kingdom too busy scheming to look north. The horror isn't in a jump scare; it’s in Will’s slow realization, the unnatural cold, and the chilling final line about the silence. It’s a promise of a threat that the rest of the book, and series, spends its time trying to ignore.
