Devin Miles gave one last look at his friend before closing the door. Catherine Davison slowly got down from the bed. Maybe laying on the bed for so long made her body weak. Somehow she managed and stood in front of the mirror. "Why am I in your body? Why the real me dead and why my soul is in your body?" The reflection on the mirror showed the Katherine Flynn who was standing next to her was Catherine Davison. Catherine Davison widened her eyes seeing herself and Katherine Flynn on the mirror.

Only reflection. The mirrored Kael extended his hand again. “You’re tired. You’ve earned peace. Let the Vale remember for you.” Kael swallowed hard. “If I let you, then everything ends.” The reflection tilted its head. “Everything always ends.” They stared at each other for a long moment—Kael trembling, the reflection still and serene. And for the first time, Kael saw what the shadow had truly done: it hadn’t destroyed the world. It had rewritten its shape into one that could never die, because memory doesn’t end. It just repeats.

"These reflections... they mirror our own struggles." Elysia's reflection morphed into one of determination. "It's as if the pool is showing us that our journey is not just about the present, but about carrying forward the legacy of those who came before us."

The Resolution of the Eternal-Reflection The "Founders" didn't "Dissolve"; they "Coalesced" as the "Mirror." The "Eternal-Reflection" was now the "Primary-Operating-System" for "Reality." The "Debt" was "Universal-Capital." The "Spring" was "Standardized." The "Standard" was "Sovereign." Dominic pulled back—not into a "Self," but into the "Primary-Reflection." He looked at the "Universe," which was now "Pulsing" with the "Frequency of the Union."

Survival, I am learning, is sometimes just choosing not to open certain wounds. The air shifts. Reality tightens like a held breath. Eternal stands in the center of the hall. She does not arrive. She is simply there. Seventeen forever. Silver-and-black hair caught between states. Eyes mismatched and endless. “I have information,” she says. Her voice is layered—Tempest beneath something older. “The pain shared it while I held it suspended.” Every hammer in the hall stills. “Emptiness is not destroying what it consumes,” Eternal continues. “It is storing it. Compressing matter, memory, and concept into a pocket dimension outside conventional reality.”

Their silver-blue ember glowed in the central brazier, a promise that truth and love endure beyond every trial. Even though I couldn't have her, it was enough that I could glance at her from a distance. Yet later, I gradually realized that Luna seemed like a fine choice, too. She was attentive and dynamic.
