Pressing a slow, playful kiss to her lips, he murmured against her mouth, “Come on, Millie Berry. Tell me.” She hesitated before finally giving in. “I was just thinking… a friend of mine once told me about her ex… You know… coming in his pants.” She bit her lip, cheeks flushing deeper. “And I was wondering if I could make you do the same.” Evan blinked, caught off guard, then let out a deep chuckle. “A friend of yours, huh?” He shot her a heated look, gripping the wheel a little tighter. “Want to find out?”

Evan: Can I see you tonight? I closed my eyes. Me: I shouldn’t. Evan: Please. I typed, deleted, typed again. Me: An hour. That’s all. Evan was already there when I arrived. He stood by the window, hands in his pockets, tension etched into every line of his body. “You look exhausted,” he said. “So do you,” I replied. He turned. “Something’s wrong.” I let out a breath. “Ethan took the fall.” Evan froze. “What?”

Eva, Bucks girlfriend says. "Thanks but I'll stick it out. If I leave, I won't be able to sit at the table this year except someone else finds a boyfriend and moves out." Eva laughs. "Buck will keep a spot for you. Don't worry about it." She whispers in Bucks ears and he nods. I smile at Buck before following Eva out of the cafeteria. "Thank you." I say to Eva after I've changed into her blazer. "It's cool. It's what girls do for each other."

She pointed at the both of us. Evan was the first to walk out angrily. "See you soon, baby." She rolled her eyes at me and then hurriedly went to welcome her customers. The crowd multiplied little by little. My face lit up in a smile as I watched her happily interact. "Get here already!" Evan yelled from a corner. Frowning, I walked up to him. "How could you do this to me, bro? Ain't brothers supposed to have each other's back?" He scoffed. "I told you that if you let her go, I'm taking her. I told you!" He poked my chest angrily.

“You've ruined me.” “I like the sound of that.” Adrian's lips brushed against my forehead. “Because, I'm not letting you walk out of here tonight.” I buried my face in his throat, inhaled his scent. “Adrian?” “Hmm?” “Were you always…” I struggled up, and he helped me, his arms supporting me. “No. I'm Bisexual, Evan.” His deep laughter rumbled against my ear. I sat up, and looked at him. “All this time…”

I said, laughing softly. Evan raised a brow. “A turtle?” I nodded. “Apparently, he saw one in a cartoon and decided it was the perfect pet. He even named it already—Spike.” Evan shook his head, chuckling. “We might need to prepare for that.” The conversation flowed effortlessly. I had dreamed of moments like this. And now, I was living in it. As the plates were cleared away, Evan leaned back in his chair, watching me with that familiar intensity in his gaze.

Evan continued repeating what Liam said to us. Liam grunted but nodded in agreement. “Where are you?” Vincent asked me, still sounding annoyed but concerned. “Going to the first-floor cafeteria." I told him nonchalantly, looking at Liam and Evan. Now Evan had pushed me away a little, walking with Liam now. “I think this character..... Buck.” Evan spoke further, rubbing his chin with his knuckle as if he were thinking something very serious. “He set the fire and destroyed the orphanage, a place sheltering so many helpless people, mostly children of different ages.
