Author’s POV **20 YEARS LATER...** **Blue Stars Hotel – Private Room 203** The heavy bass from the hotel bar vibrated through the walls as laughter and loud music filled the air. Inside Private Room 203, things had turned ugly. A young woman named Hazel Lett was backed against the wall, her eyes wide with terror. Three drunk men surrounded her, their hands grabbing at her clothes. One of them laughed loudly as he ripped her thin top, tearing it to shreds. Another pulled a pair of scissors from his pocket and started cutting her jeans.

I looked at him, and I waited for another image to pop on my screen, which it did. The image of the house popped again, and I said, “Hotel. Hazbin hotel. Goldsmith cash. Hazbin hotel.” He didn’t understand that I said then he was dumb. Too dumb to be a healer, he tapped furiously on the screen of his phone he was going to break it, and it was certain. He showed me an image of a big building with the name ‘Hazbin hotel.’ On it, I nodded with excitement, and he smiled too. We had finally come to an agreement, and it was so fulfilling.

He sat down beside her, his legs crossed in a lotus pose. "My name is Kai, prince Yuka's best friend" he stated and Hazel nodded with a smile on her face. He turned to look at Yuka and waved, a grin on his face. "Enjoying the view?!" Kai asked and Yuka snorted. "You find him fascinating, don't you?" Kai asked Hazel and she beamed. "Yeah. But, you know what? I prefer Romeo to Skylar" Hazel said. Kai laughed. "Who the hell is Romeo?"

Zain gently withdrew his hand, offering a reassuring smile to the newcomer. "Hazel, meet Sybil. She's here to assist us," he introduced, glancing reassuringly at Hazel, who was still grappling with the sudden turn of events. "Hello, Hazel. I'm Sybil, a...witch," she said with a chuckle as if amused by her own designation. Chewing gum casually, she examined her impeccably manicured nails. "Zain..." Hazel stammered, uncertain whether this unconventional girl would grasp the gravity of her situation. Caught in a precarious struggle between life and death, she wasn't in the mood for games—not when everything hung in the balance.

The live feed from the drone's camera was clearly visible, showing Hazel as she sat spooning her food in the dining room. Hendrik Sinclaire sat back in his oversized leather chair. He swirled a crystal glass of bourbon in his right hand, listening to the clink of ice cubes against the glass. The corner of his mouth twitched upward into a smirk. "Interesting," Hendrik clicked his tongue. "That bitch has caused me so much trouble by pretending to be a corpse..." Hendrik sipped his drink slowly, his eyes darkening with pure hatred. "...but she can still eat her food in peace now? Tch. Enjoy your last meal, Hazel. Because there will be no forgiveness for you this time, former little sister."

Meagan asked Brianna who giggled. “I can hear you!” Hazel said loudly. “Slavery era ended a long time ago.” Brianna replied. “I am stuck with you, Meagan Swift! You deserve all the happiness in the world, so give another man a chance in your life!” Hazel screamed from the rooms “Shut up, Hazel!” Meagan shot back. “We have just ten minutes to call time.” Brianna reminded as she took out a small brush from her bag to redo her hair. Hazel is an iota wolf which means a worker that works at the pack infirmary treating wolves.

Brianna Saunders and Georgina Hathaway are the party girls that sleep with everybody, even with each other. He was a bit disappointed to know that Hazel was not one of them. It would be helpful for him if she was a little bit on the wild side. Instead, he found out that Hazel Williams was actually the high school sweetheart. One of the nicest ones is the good girl who probably hasn't even slept with her first boyfriend. Though seeing her came out of the storage room with her hair all messed up, he was doubtful.
