I looked at it with various things going through my head ,why did he have that much stuff just right here ,I just couldn't place my hands on it no matter how hard I tried to ,it was just as if nothing was going to explain the reasons why . A brown book caught my attention and when it did ,I didn't hesitate to grab it. From the hardcover ,I could tell that the content that we're In the book was going to be interesting but just as I opened one , something fell out of the book and on the floor heavily . I have to walk halfway down the row before I finally enter the plants and animals sections. The first couple of books are on forest plants. Then, I spot a book whose title is 'Herbs'. A short title, but it perfectly suits the book. I flip through the pages to find page after page covered in writing without a single picture in sight. Wanting to cover all of my bases, I search for a book that has pictures of the herbs. Not even five books away, is a book titled 'Herbs Catalog'. Each page of this book discusses a different herb and contains a large image if what it looks like.

Libro Vitae whispered its voice harmonious. "Libro Vitae, please show me where Alastair is hiding," I asked. The book hummed in response. Libro Vitae became warm in my hands. The cover opened, pages flipped continuously until they suddenly stopped. The words on the page jumped off the paper, floating into the air, wrapping themselves around me. In a blink of an eye, I was pulled into the book. Light flooded my vision. Every sound echoed around me. Voices raced past me, speaking in riddles. Some shouting, screaming, others a dull whisper. Libro Vitae's voice became louder as I watched the trees form around me.

She examines the old, leather-bound spines with wide eyes. "This must have been a mistake," she murmurs, running her fingers over the covers. "Wow… these are… incredible." I step closer. "What is it?" Elizabeth slides out a thick, dusty book from one of the upper shelves. "I’ve heard of this one—it’s a book of legends."

Both were really awkward at each other at first but when they found out that both were reading the same book, they eventually got a comfortable to talk at each other. “So, you also read that book-” “Yeah, I got into it after a friend of mine recommended it to me.” “Isn’t it a great book.” “Yeah, I got hooked on it after reading the first chapter.” “bla-bla-bla” Both continued to talked to each other and enjoyed their conversation. “I was feeling an awkward atmosphere growing between our table so I was gonna try to start a conversation but when you brought out your book, I was just surprised to see a person reading it.” The girl said.

Lex in his full voice he exclaimed those words. Liam glance around him with Lex and they are really lots of them but Liam can take care of himself, he just don't want to fight with Lex. Enzo’s POV I chewed on the inside of my cheek as I stared down at the book. Simply Elemental, it was called: a battered old paperback that looked as though it had been passed around a lot, the spine bent out of shape, the corners dog-eared. I picked up the scrap of paper that had fallen from it and went to tuck it back inside the cover. I paused, the paper curling in my palm. I could look at it. Just quickly. Nobody would ever know…

I said, grinning from teeth to teeth like a child. We walked into the library. It looked like it had been a while, since it was in use. We went through several sections which included, finance, self-improvement, ethics, business amongst all. I caught a glimpse of a book I had been wanting to read, “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. I picked it immediately, and started going through it. After a while, I noticed I wasn't hearing any sound from the cook. I looked around and found her wiping tears off her eyes with the hem of her apron.

The warmth from the fire didn't really ease the uneasy feeling growing inside me. Taking a deep breath, I opened the book. Each page turn felt like stepping back into a past I wanted to forget. The flames continued to dance, casting a flickering light that seemed to play along with the emotions swirling within me. I turned another page, the words becoming guides through a landscape of recovery I wasn't sure I was ready to navigate. Memories, like shadows, crept in as the fire crackled. Each sentence seemed to awaken echoes of my own experiences. It was as if the library held its breath, waiting for me to absorb the weight of those stories and somehow find my own path within them.
