Witcher Elder Blood Novels & Stories

She let out, as the bright light of the moon was deeply falling onto her blood, making it shine, almost glitter. But immediately Maya wrapped her hand tightly with the cloth, blocking any overflow. “Come on, let's go inside.” She said dragging Mira in, before more damage happens. But the blood on the floor stayed, fresh and red, with the moon's light surrounding it. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… “Huuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh …………… no………..” The elder witch gasped, her eyes wide open in shock, as the smell of the “blood” think blood got to her.

My wolf violently rejected the smell, forcing a surge of bitter bile into the back of my mouth. "Drink it," Elder Brown insisted smoothly, holding the cup closer. "A single glass to lock the contract." I forced my jaw to lock, fighting down the sudden heave in my chest. I grabbed the silver goblet, tilted my head back, and forced the burning liquid down my throat in one massive swallow. The alcohol scorched my chest, making my eyes water as I slammed the empty cup onto the table. "Thank you, Elder. Goodnight." "I'll have my personal driver escort you to your pack den," Elder Brown offered, reaching for his coat. "Where are you housed?"

The elder walked up to Fenris and held out the curved iron blade, handle first. "To lead the Ironmaw," the elder said, locking his pale eyes onto mine, "you must share the blood of the kill. You must take the Blood Vow." My heart hammered a frantic rhythm against my ribs. Eat the heart. Mina didn’t warn me about this. Fenris took the iron blade. He didn't hesitate for a fraction of a second. He turned his broad back to me, dropped to one knee in the blood-soaked snow, and drove the knife directly into the center of the massive elk's chest.

I declared, without a hint of argument or hesitation. “If that is so, I order you to squeeze blood into this bowl,” Elder Syria, commanded and presented a black bowl to my face. I reached out a thumb and Laurence did the honors by slashing it and pressing my palm to the bowl, my blood dropping into the water. There was spirit in the bowl, and a light red color. I perceived the scent of blood as it came to my nostrils, and sent Davos a glance to which he nodded and I knew his blood too was inside.

I can't stop asking her. I know Shantelle's Grandma said something about my blood but I still don't fully understand. My brain couldn't even absorb what she was saying. "I think it's about your blood?" She said, I questioningly. "I don't know! I don't have a clue either. Let's just follow Grandma because what she said seems serious," she added. I just nodded. I don't know why that old woman is so serious. I still can't get over the bleeding in one of her eyes as if it was dangerous for a creature to see my life. "Let's go,"

Blood trickled down my neck as the chosen elder said, "We are almost done." Xaden raised his head askance. "Nothing harmful." He said. "What is next?" I whispered, putting my index finger over Xaden's lips as he tried to stop me. "We need your blood inside the cauldron to lock the spirit of the claws, totally." I prodded Xaden to carry me close to the cauldron. The elders opened the lid. Xaden tilted my neck towards the large pot. And with a thud, my blood dropped. For the second time that night, my body jerked violently as the cauldron forcefully pulled me in. I screamed.

It spoke to me in a language older than dreams, but I understood every word. “Rule the waking world. Rule the dreamscape. Rule the blood of gods.” It paused. Then came the condition. “But the vessel must bleed.” My breath caught in my throat. The vessel. Elise’s twins – Kael and Lyra. Of course. Elise would bleed too. she was a special kind of witch – the dream keeper they say. To fully bring the Devourer into both realms—body and soul—Elise had to bleed on this altar. Her blood was the final key.

Roman asked. “I am, but I'm going to wake him up with my blood first. Once he's awake, it's not a good idea for him to continue feeding from me. I'm sure you understand why that's not a good idea,” Lexon said as he placed his wrist over Ezra's mouth and allowed his blood to flow. The Elder used his blood first for a few reasons. One was that he was an elder, and the blood of an elder would strengthen the king quickly. Another was so he didn't waste any of Roman's blood by trying to pour it into Ezra’s mouth.

The elders exchange glances, fear flickering for a fleeting moment. Suddenly, the sound of chair scraping echoes throughout the quiet hall and we turn to see Elder Warren on his feet. “I can't bear to listen to this madness,” he hisses. “I'm out of here.” He turns to leave, marching to the door. A blood curdling scream cuts through the hall and I snap my head toward the sound just in time to see him jerk violently. A blade protrudes from his chest and blood spills on the floor. Blood drains from my face as a Vampire bares his fangs behind him.

His eyes held mine with intensity. I hesitated and looked around one last time. But there was no Rowan, no rescue. Only rows of watching faces and the cold pressure of Damien’s threat. I extended my trembling hand. The elder pricked my thumb with a quick motion. Sharp pain flared and my blood joined his blood in the cup. The elder mixed the contents with a silver rod until the blood blended into one. “Drink and bind your fates,” the elder commanded.
