Giggles spill from me, I like his petty side. Quickly working up a text, something I should have done earlier, I type in a message inquiring about his whereabouts and safety. My lips pucker as I reread the message, my finger hover about the send button but I don't tap on it, I sit there, battling with myself on the correct emoji to end the text. I was focused on my laptop, and my hair was covering part of my face, and he wrote in the caption, “Missing you.” Wait, what?! He posted me on his gram?! My mouth dropped open, and in my clumsy hysteria, I accidentally sent the love emoji as a reply to his story. Shit!

He was so excited that even the scorching sunlight felt gentle to him. Excitedly taking out his phone, he sent a huge smiling emoji to Hailey with no accompanying words. When Hailey, who was in a meeting at that moment, saw the emoji Christian sent her, she briefly thought before secretly replying that she was in a meeting. Christian quickly responded, “[Then, carry on with your work. I just wanted to tell you I am thrilled today].” Even through the phone, Hailey seemed to be influenced by Christian’s joy and broke into a faint smile. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Violet staring at her. Immediately, she pretended as if nothing had happened and stared at her notebook.

" Only Liam's text is all over the screen. He was chatting happily when Ethan suddenly sent private messages to him. Liam grinned to his ear, and his smile was still seized. But when he opened his private letter, he couldn't smile anymore. He saw Ethan only made a concise eight words: "Since you so eager to ruin yourself, then..."
