Novel & Cerita Eye For An Eye Blind Swordsman

Hearing your thoughts and seeing what you can see… What's the difference? I did not reply. I merely showed her what the difference was. In front of Snowie's stunned gaze, I thrust my finger into my right eye and forcibly plucked my eyeball out. Of course, there would not be blood or gore. After all, my right eye was a prosthetic.

Everyone in the martial world knew that the Eye Technique was incredibly rare and extremely difficult to master. A single misstep, and at best, one could go blind. If things turned for the worse, the backlash could destroy the brain beyond salvation. Even a deity wouldn't be able to save them. Yet, Martin had succeeded in mastering it! "This is bad!" Bertram's expression changed drastically. Sure enough, Martin didn't hesitate. He charged forward with the ferocity of a mountain tiger and the speed of a lightning panther, rushing straight at Humphrey. "Dodge now!" Bertram roared.

It was just him and me now, bound by the code. I straightened, my eyes locked on his. He didn’t speak, didn’t even move, but I could feel the intensity of his gaze through the shadow of his hood. My fingers tightened around the hilt of my sword as I prepared to draw it again. The duel had begun, and there was no turning back. The swordsman moved like a shadow, his blade slicing through the air with almost perfect precision. His face was masked from the nose down, leaving only his eyes visible… like an assassin.

I held it with both hands. A fistful of my hair was snatched and he turned me to fully look at him. Before I could register his features, I pushed the sword upwards and into his abdomen as far as I could. His blood splattered on my nightwear and across my face. That was when I noticed his eyes. Or his lack of eyes thereof. He had no eyes, just like the woman at the tower. Just a face with every other feature asides eyes. I screamed when his body came tumbling down on me but now, he was lifeless. Using the last ounce of my energy, I pushed him aside and stood to my feet.

At the same time, his fists crashed into me—bone against bone—slamming into my side, ramming the air from my lungs. Steel bit into flesh. Knuckles crushed into skin. I slipped past his guard—just once. My blade flashed and tore across his eyes. He roared, a sound that shook the air between us. Dark blood streamed from the ruined sockets, spilling down his face as he staggered back, blinded. For a heartbeat, he faltered. I lunged for his neck. But even sightless, he was deadly. He moved on instinct and caught me mid-strike. His grip clamped around my right hand—

A low rumble of amusement rolled through the arena. For a split second— Just a split second— His eyes narrowed. Ah. So he does have emotions. Good to know. But the moment passed quickly. His face went blank again. Emotionless. Then— Slowly— His hand moved to his side. My body tensed instantly. What was he— Metal flashed. My breath caught. He pulled out a sword. Not small. Not normal. Big. Heavy. The kind of blade meant to end fights permanently. The crowd LOST THEIR MINDS.

This also showed that the Cruel Emperor’s body was as tough as steel itself. Although the Cruel Emperor had been struck with great force - and certainly being smashed into steel wasn’t helpful at all - his eyes were still clear. As a man who had fought for many years he knew the importance of keeping your mind clear and your eyes glued to your opponents always. That was right up there with ‘don’t you dare lose’. So, the Cruel Emperor kept his eyes on his opponent. Even when his mind shook and his brain begged him for relief, he did not close those eyes. His eyelids did not even twitch. And it was because he kept true to the instincts he had developed over the years that he was able to see it

Through the haze, Samuel spotted his attacker - Greg, a man usually known for his calm demeanour, now transformed into a snarling hurricane. "Greg?" he croaked, disbelief lacing his voice. Before Samuel could react further, Greg lunged again, another blow aimed at his ribs. This time, Samuel managed to dodge, stumbling back further into the apartment. Adrenaline surged through him, dispelling the shock. Each of his words was laced with venom, accusation dripping from his lips like poison.

In a swift mode he got a hold on a sword and clashed it with mine as we both danced around and clicked it fiercely in anger. This dude was blind! I should know his moves and weak points for crying out loud. He was so fast during his attack that it was almost impossible to know his next step. I tricked my movement in going to the left and he followed my sense of direction immediately only to shift my sword to the right and slice his right arm. He winced and his men went mad with anger. He still remained cool though as he raised his sword and to clash it on me when I dodged and gave him a hard punch that made his sword fall.

Even though he had agreed to step back, he was still on alert. "I'd like to see." Zephyr moved Bellona aside and came face to face with Antonio. He wanted to see what Antonio was talking about. He needed to teach the man a lesson. "Come on, are you scared?" Zephyr mocked when he saw that Antonio was still on his spot. Guess his threats were empty. Antonio was fazed by the challenge and landed a punch on Zephyr's face. Zephyr's head tilted to the side from the impact of the punch. He smiled slowly and raised his fingers and touched his lips. He then brought his fingers forward to his eyes level and when he saw blood, his eyes darkened in rage.
