Eyelashes Drawing Novels & Stories

Simple and complex at the same time. Back in my room, I sat at my desk. The black-covered notebook was already open, a pencil beside it. I looked at the blank page for a few seconds and, without thinking too much, began to draw. The lines appeared almost by themselves. First, a feminine gaze, with long eyelashes. Then, the outline of a smiling mouth. My fingers kept moving, adding subtle details — a scarf over her shoulders, a book in her hands. It wasn't Giulia. Not exactly. But somehow, it seemed to have something of her in it.

I just set the yellow pencil down beside the paper and stepped back slightly, giving her space. Lila didn’t move for a long time. Then, slowly, so slowly it was almost imperceptible, she raised her head. Her tear-filled eyes, red-rimmed and impossibly deep, focused not on me, but on the drawing. On the yellow sun. On the little house. On the two stick figures.

I had to stop myself from wiping off his lips because it just made him lick them again. His eye lashes were full and seemed to be the best feature on his face and I hadn’t even noticed it until today. If not for him being in a deep sleep I wouldn’t have been able to count them either. I had found out that his left eye had more eyelashes than his right one, so to help him out I plucked a few to make sure they were even. His eyebrows were impossible to count so instead I rubbed them around with my finger until I was satisfied with how they looked. I would have to remember to tell him that I liked his eyebrows a certain way.

Sara smiles before accepting it, “Can you explain her lashes? Did she have long lashes? Short lashes? Fake ones? Dramatic lashes?” Dramatic lashes? What in the world does that even mean? “Her lashes were of average.” I answered. Such a childish and girly tantrum. I covered my face. This was truly embarrassing. It was a good thing that I am the only person seeing this. I could not let Lucas know that I have such a habit before! This would be my secret until the day I die! "Mom, look here! I draw myself and mom!" My mother and I looked at the drawing book. There were two stick figures on the paper. The taller stick has long hair and a big smile with very long lashes that expand longer than the ears. While the shorter stick has twig tails and a small smile.

No wonder Killian couldn’t look me in the eye this morning. I reach for the sketch pad Elara left by the nightstand. My fingers tremble, but I grip the pencil like it’s my lifeline. I don’t understand why boys get fuller brows and thicker eyelashes when ladies are the ones who need them. I’ll kill to have his. Not kill but yeah, I would love to have those lashes.

Without the usual frown or smirk, the calculating aura around him disappears. He looks peaceful. Almost angelic. Such a piece of art. His lips are red... like cherries. I have never noticed that before. They look almost vampiric, contrasting sharply with his pale skin, which is even lighter than mine. Men really do get the better end of the deal when it comes to eyelashes. Look at those long lashes, like delicate fans. Those thick, dark brows framing them perfectly. And I have to buy limited-edition serum just to grow mine to a decent length.
