Liora’s eyes scanned the pages he flipped through, and her brows slowly pulled together in curiosity. The entire book was filled with writing, but it wasn’t in any language she recognized.
“You write in a strange language,” she said, eyes wide.
“Yes my Sunray,” Erezhul said without looking up.
Liora said nothing for a moment, watching as his hand moved quickly, elegantly, across the book. Then he stopped, tapping the end of the quill once against the paper before reading what he wrote aloud, his voice low, almost melodic:
