DragonBorn

DragonBorn

His eyes moved from the crown of my braided hair to the sole of my black boots and up again as if verifying that I was truly Fae. "What is the difference between the two anyway?"I gazed askance. "What is the difference between you and the Sybyl?" He asked dryly. I pondered for a couple of seconds. "Ears?" I offered. True. The woman's ears were round and cute like a human's. "The Brownie?" "She's brown and small and looks human?" I offered again. "The fairies?" "Tiny?" "Not." He said and looked away from me almost immediately. "What do you mean 'Not'?" I fumed.

The Cursed Alpha's Fake Mate

The Cursed Alpha's Fake Mate

Ember started to defend, shaking her head back and forth as she moved to step back, but I grabbed her arm, keeping her close to me. "Don't lie to me, Little Fairy," I repeated, emphasizing the name. She could play innocent all she wanted, but that was what their kind was good at. Lies. Deception. Magic. The tip of my nose touched hers as she tilted her head back to look up at me, and I had to pull back. She was too close, too tempting. I had heard stories of the different powers that Fae had. Some worked with the elements, others had mastered illusion. The worst was the Fae Queen.

Started reading this 2 days ago. Got only 4 hours sleep one night because I couldn't put it down. Great male and female leads. I adore their relationship they are try so hard to work through. I would prefer to call in sick for the morning and not work to finish the book today.

Blue Thunder: The Rise of the Legend - book 1

“Still, thanks a lot for that.” “Don’t you find it interesting that in the banking world, the goblins are known to be shady and untrustworthy while people would trust the fays with everything they own? The fays are just as bad as the goblins, if not worse. They could be selling your grandmother behind your back and you would never know. With the goblins at least, you know what to expect.”

The Kidnapped Bride

The Kidnapped Bride

“So, you get what I’m saying? You are the villain.” “And you learned all of this from… a book?” “There are children’s books, fairy tales where the story is basically the same thing written a little differently. You get the gist by what I said.” “So, in the end, the villain always dies? And the hero and the princess embrace and get married?” “Always, in the books. But in reality, it is different, but we are not supposed to talk about that. We are supposed to be blind to the reality. In reality, the cunning one wins most of the time, whether it is the villain or the hero.”

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

I could feel his eyes following me when I made my shameful exit on quaky legs which were a result of abhorring feelings for Orian. I think I have been in this bathroom for more than thirty minutes being super comfortable with trying to calm the butterflies that erupted In my belly because I felt like my fairy tale had just begun. It's a norm for fairy tales to have happy endings with singing forest birds and a lavish wedding with the Prince and princess riding off into the meadows with the prospects of a happier life. In my fairy tale, I wasn't whisked off and seduced by a prince. I was deceived and kidnapped by a dark lord who so happened to be my father's enemy while also being my soulmate

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)

"Are you lying?" She chose to not answer and just hug him tighter. "Do you know what fairytales are, Zoren?" "You told me about them—made-up stories that are filled with lies to hook the viewers with their movie, right?" "Yes," she nodded. "But I haven't told you how magical and wonderful fairytales are. They are stories that can captivate your heart and stay there for a very long time, sometimes forever." "That's amazing, then." "Yeah," she nodded. "You are my fairytale."

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

I knew where mom was going with her question and the last thing I needed at the moment is an awkward video conversation with my sister. My sister. ******* It was a literature class and our teacher, a petite woman who always seems to have a permanent smile plastered on her face was teaching us prose and it's forms. 'So what do you guys think about fairy tales?' She suddenly asked out of nowhere. We were not even doing anything related to it. 'Or better still, can someone define what a fairy tale means?' Several hands shoot up and the teacher singled Tolase out. 'In literature, fairy tale can simply be defined as a traditional story written for children that usually involves imaginary creature

"Thanks for the food." "Its nothing, eat and rest okay, forget what I said earlier." She left my room after that, I took another fork full but stop on reaching my mouth, what if she's right, what if? I raised my voice. He chucked and raised his hands in mock surrender. "Fine, fine. Here's what's going to happen," he said. "I grant you three wishes… one for each time you're able to… satisfy me." The way he said it made me want to vomit. But besides that, what was he talking about? "You're a genie?" He smiled. "No, darling. I'm a fairy. There's a difference." "What's the difference?" He smirked and replied, "Genies stay in a bottle. My cock alone wouldn't even fit in one."

A Daughter’s Revenge

A Daughter’s Revenge

Fairytales have a modicum of truth to them. Just enough truth that the reader can absorb the message, learn whatever moral imperative is being taught. The tricky part is discerning what little bit is rooted in truth, and what is an outright lie, a fantasy embellishment to keep you reading. I prefer the stories with happy endings, lessons are still learned, but the main character in the end is well and fine.
