Smack! I slapped him on the face and held his chin— squeezing it.
“How does that f*e? Good?“ I asked him, fingers digging into his skin harder.
He grinned widely and then began to laugh. The audacity of him to laugh at face of death.
His laughter choked out in a cough, followed by blood. “So dramatic, darling. I thought you’d burn prettier than that.” he finally uttered, still grinning.
I didn’t smile. That wasn't a joke but a mock that has to be dealt with.
