Everyone did what felt right. Hell yeah, I thought, twirling my way back to Enzo, the faerie ball had been the best idea ever. Totally random, totally obscure, but fun as fuck. And, hopefully, a marker of the things to come once I became Moose Creek’s Luna. Even if I couldn’t shift into a wolf, I could throw a damn good party. The fairy lights twinkled, golden stars dotting the backdrop of peach-pink clouds and craggy bottle-green pines and, further back still, the greying silhouettes of the mountains beyond. Everywhere I looked was a scene from a fairytale, filled with horned, whiskered creatures, seelie and unseelie fae, and alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol.

The glass windows ripple like water. "Now look," she says, showing the shapes moving on her arms. The glowing structure behind them is identical to this new mythical looking diner. "This tattoo was a dream. Just abstract shapes that I remembered. I thought they were fragments of memories. Now, I don't t think that's it at all. Or not all of it. Look here." She pointed at where a glowing orb pulsed beneath her skin. "That's the Wolf Moon. Vuko is also looking now, frowning at the wisps of light and shade moving like shadow play beneath her skin. The original static shapes of the tatoos she had have gone. This, this is magic. And it's alive.

She thanked Missi and reached to close the door. Missi turned to leave. She was wearing a dark gray sleeveless shirt, and Leesa found her eyes drawn to a blue tattoo on the back of Missi’s right shoulder. The tattoo was heart-shaped and looked like it was fashioned out of blue flames. The blue fire immediately made Leesa think of Rave. She hadn’t seen him in over a week, which was at least a week too long as far as she was concerned. If she ever got brave enough to get a tattoo, she decided she would get one similar to Missi’s. A heart made out of blue fire would be the perfect symbol if her love for Rave. She smiled as she wondered what kind of tattoo Rave could get to display his love for

But the fairies did not succeed in cutting Venenata Negra. The other fairies died, but the subsequent drawings made me nervous. The dead faeries were resurrected and came back from the dead. But the drawing is different, you can tell they are faeries, but they have horns and long nails. It has a demonic symbol that represents these faeries are no longer good. No, I missed something. I went back to the drawings I had passed and there I saw that they had come to life because of Venenata Negra, but they were not the same as before.

I then noticed that the figure was Hikaru's shadow! The demonic mushroom must be here! I thought as I looked around and found a spot in the garden especially dark. I tracked deeper, towards the pitch-black darkness, and I found glowing blood-red dots. That must be it! The Black Parasol Mushroom, a fungus that takes up the evilest form in the nearest heart. The only way to make it dormant is to expose it to light for a while. I recalled as I transformed into my beast form before grabbing it and running towards the east tower where the lanterns were.

"Now that you've gotten a boyfriend, you've forgotten all about me!" His eyes instantly welled up, and his voice cracked. "You used to always give me the first rib!" The table went dead silent for two seconds. Hannah quickly put a rib onto his plate. "Don't cry, Prince Mike. Look, there's plenty left." Mike sobbed even louder. "No! I want the one Alicia gives me! She doesn't love me anymore!" It took ten minutes of Hannah's nonstop coaxing, plus three more ribs from Alicia, before he finally calmed down. He ate while glaring at me.

I said as I gave it to her "it's a ticket to the music fairies concert holding tomorrow by 8pm" "Wow! Really!! Thank you so much Aiden" she said happily and I smiled I like seeing her happy "Yeah you should be grateful, the music fairies' vocalist is personally handing you the ticket himself" I said "Yeah, am the luckiest girl in the world right now" she said and I knew she was being sarcastic "Am serious, you should be grateful" I said "I am grateful and I'll definitely be there, I've always wanted to attend the music fairies live Concert" she said

Across my entire back, from shoulder to hips, was the flaming image of a phoenix. The tattoo was incredible, and I knew the magic Gerald possessed played a large role in the tattoo. The colors were bright against my pale skin. Shimmering shades of scarlet, orange, yellow, and gold intertwined and mixed within the spread wings of the phoenix. What surprised me most were its eyes. They were a brilliant shade of green, an exact replica of my own. Just as I pulled on my t-shirt, Gerald came back into the tent. I watched as he cleaned the surrounding area and tidied up his work station.

I chuckled and leaned in closer to his face, bending my knees. "Watashihadare?” [Who am I?] I burst out laughing at the thought that my own people have no idea who I am. Oh, right! My tattoo. I removed the silicone cosmetics that had covered my face tattoo. His eyes widened even more when I removed the cover, and because of the dark surroundings, it slowly glows. "R-Ranshio Violet! Mōshiwakearimasen! Watashi o yurushitekudasai watashi no oroka-sa no tame ni!"

The four types of tattoos were the Alpha tattoo, the Beta tattoo, the Zeta tattoo, and the member tattoo. My tattoo had seven moons at the top of my back with two versions of the Helm of Awe on each shoulder blade. In the middle of my back was Yggdrasil, the tree of life with a wolf head coming out of the roots. Finally, below the wolf and running down my spine was my name in Old Norse. In the middle of Yggdrasil’s branches, the Alpha sign of our pack was cleverly blended in.
