With a gentle smile, Mitchell began reading a tale of enchantment and adventure from one of her favorite story books. "Once upon a time, in the enchanting land of a Faraway kingdom, there lived a curious little fairy named Sophia. With sparkling wings that shined like the stars in the night sky, Sophia had a special gift; she could make flowers bloom with a mere touch and bring joy to all living creatures.

“If you sleep now, Papi will tell you a special story you’ve never heard.” Ash paused mid-chaos. “What story?” “Secret. The title is… The Sausage Princess Trapped in the Yam Castle.” I groaned. “Seriously.” But Ash looked spellbound. He grabbed his blanket and dragged Pepper along as he dashed into the bedroom. Thirty minutes, five pages, and one absurd fairy tale later — complete with a vegetarian dragon, a talking prata, and a prince who won a flip-flop racing contest — the tiny creature finally passed out.

I feel like I’ve seen that back somewhere before. Author’s bullshit Reminder again, that the Fae King’s story is in my book Blood Bound

The universe would have had to gamble some of the ozone layer just for those words to even be placed in that order. I was willing to take it an extra step. Even Cassian didn't seem to believe what he just heard. He shook his head, bit his lip and then slightly tilted his head as he looked at me. "I must've heard you wrong, because what I heard is that you want to read me a bedtime story,” he commented with his eyes still transfixed on me. "That's exactly what I said,” I responded as I waved the book in the air. “I don't know if you've read this book about the king who had everything he could have wished for, except for a soul,” I added as I showed him the cover.

It still feels like im living in a fairy tale, only my fairy tale came true. THE END ............ Oh my, what a journey Megan and her King have been on. I said closing my eyes and rest back against my bed. “The King sweetie, your father. His name is Seeley Romanov. Now 3 things you can hear.” Koa’s voice still that motherly soft tone that made you homesick for your real mother’s arms. “Romanov?! Weren’t they the Royal family from Russia that Disney made a movie about? And I hear you in my head, I hear,” I closed my eyes and focused on my wolf hearing, “I can hear people walking through the corridors, and I hear water running in the showers.” I was already feeling a little bit better at this point. The shaking had almost stopped and my lungs weren’t burning from the fast breathing anymore.

“There’s nothing like that here—“ “There is when if you have a laptop. You’re rich, aren’t you, Mr. Driver?” “Wait!” Stephen stood up, went to his room, and when he came back there, he was already carrying a laptop. He sat next to us, we had Nash in the middle. Stephen searched on YouTube and found what Nash called Cinderella. “Sis Alyana, I want to be the prince and find someone like Cinderella.” “Why do you want someone like Cinderella?” I asked, wondering.

He said and stood beside the window. Ameliah pouted and frowned…. “I’m not sleeping unless you read me a bed time story” she said… Stephen sighed and looked at her then walked to the bed and showed his hand… “Where’s the book, let me read you your story” He said boringly Ameliah ran to her wardrobe and brought out the book she was reading earlier and then she handed it to Stephen… Stephen gasp in shock as he saw the book… “Where…where did you get this book?” He stammered…

She looked at him, surprised by his words. But he turned his sight in the other direction. Asteria’s cheeks became hot. She wasn’t sure if the king said she was stunning or if she just suffered from auditory hallucination. The king extended his hand to her. She then reached for him. Asteria didn’t know why, but she felt that there was static the moment their skins collided. “There’s no stopping now. Our sanity was both trapped in this system.” Asteria suddenly recalled the King’s words on their first night together.

He seems to also have enjoyed a rather thick volume on a collection of fairy tales - which would be similarly baffling, were it not the kind of fairy tale that ends more in a gruesome, unexpected end for the titular princess, of the grim variety. This, falls more in line with what Regina might have expected, but still. To imagine the King reading fairy tales - even grim ones - is a thought that had not once occurred to Karla as within the realm of possibility. What King Mattel had read most of all, though, is a novel about a man who, on the full moon, turns into a wolf-like beast. Regina, hunched over on the floor with her back aching and squinting in the dimming light, reads through the pas
