Before I can get another question in, her voice changes into the special singsong lilt reserved for bedtime stories. A long, long time ago, back when there were fairies in every forest, and princes and princesses ruled over vast kingdoms while dragons slept beneath the earth, there lived an old witch in a cave by the sea.

It didn't happen often, but when it did, nothing good ever came of it. Not much was known about the Fae. We had our usual folktales and rumors, but we never knew what was truth. We knew they had magic, magic that existed since the beginning of time. Rumor has it that small portals exist in the world, a tear between worlds, constantly open. One of our legends say that werewolves came from the Fae's realm, and that we had slipped through one of the tears in the fabric of the world. We made this realm our home, reproducing and building societies on Earth.

With his body trembling from the cold, the slight form of Nyree slipped among the brush and tree toward the old mines. His quest to find the creature who’d done this to his humans neared its apex. One of them would return to their home realm in disgrace. They’d effectively died within this realm, but their essence would go back to what some humans called the fairy realm. Those words make it sound like sugar plums and sparkles. But it wasn’t. It’s full of darkness, pain, and bloodshed, with a thin veneer of culture and purity. It’s considered a punishment or failure to return there.

Despite both of them were very real, thanks to the setting, and also since we were on earth, everything seems like a fantasy world that I just made up. “You all see here…this is the world that I called…Fantasma….it’s a world of Medieval fantasy…where there’s a swords, monsters, dragon…and everything that you can Imagine..magics too…I want you all to keep this in mind….these is the setting that I wanted….the vibes had to be maintained as it is…no matter what…”.

The world was a canvas of wonder, and the forest seemed to pulse with secrets. It was then that the Daryad fairy, a delicate ethereal being with wings adorned in glistening dewdrops, appeared before Ava. The fairy's presence was both enchanting and comforting, a guardian spirit in the moonlit haven. Daryad's voice, like the gentle rustle of leaves in a breeze, spoke of destiny woven into the fabric of nature.

But my mind couldn’t think of another explanation. I was starting to get the idea that the woman at the bar may have been for real. But what was she? Some sort of witch or deamon? She definitely was not the Fairy God Mother from my childhood movies. But it seemed to fit. Ariel lost her voice when she made a deal with the sea witch, and Cinderella did have a Fairy God Mother. All I needed now was a poisonous apple and a beast.

I am interested in your life} Natalia smiled, staring outside. It was still dark and gloomy but with the fairy mother, the world felt infinitely brighter. It was funny how she was from the forest of damnation, no that was wrong. The fairy mother was the mother of all things that lived in the forest. The forest was her body, everything growing from one root. Because of the dense mana her body emitted, monsters, mythical creatures, and fairies flocked to the forest, turning it into their habitat.

No matter how good a dream is, we always have to snap back from it. All fairy tales usually have a happy ending, the prince saves the princess from an ogre, a knight in shining armor saves a lady from a hulky brute of a man and so forth. But the world lies, that is not what always happens. Fairy tales rarely have a happy ending. The prince will save the princess and trip down some stairs, fall down and break his neck. Or the lady will live for a few years as a wife to the night and die from child birth. The story tellers never give the actual tale, the sell what appeases to the eye and heart.

Aynyra was sick of non-believers. "Fine," Rhae chuckled. Rhae began reading the book of children's stories, that told great tales of Fae, Faeries, Pixies, Shapeshifters, Draekons and magic of all kinds. It was inspirational for a book of myths as protagonists overcame challenges over challenges. Fae rode Draekons, Shapeshifters were powerful creatures and Pixies were tricksters who challenged any kind of hierarchy in the magical world.

Billy took a deep sigh and then threw his sight to his side. “Doctor? Do you know something about him?” Pearl finally asked about her curiosity. Billy went back to her treatment and nodded. He finished dressing the wound before speaking to Pearl. “It is an amazing world we have right now, Ms. Rosenthal. We are sharing our places with other creatures like werewolves, vampires, or even fairies.” Pearl now frowned, though she was still listening to Billy. Billy wisely speaks to Pearl, introducing her to the reality of a new world. “Fairies?” Billy nodded.
