Hidden Truth
“Well, we were talking, then all of a sudden you were stumbling and collapsed. There was this guy, he said he was a friend of the family. He told me he would take you to the hospital, but obviously that didn’t happen.”
“Did you get the ID of the guy?” my mother asked.
“No, b-but I did get his number!” He got his phone out and dialed the number, he put it on speaker but the number was disconnected. “What the hell?”
“He gave you a fucking fake number!” my mother shouted.
“I-I’m sorry,” Tyler said wistfully.
“So not only did you not get to see the guys face, you got a fake number so now there’s no way we can find this guy!” my mother growled. “What the hell is wrong with you?!”
