I swam as fast as i could,to reach the safety of dry land. Upon reaching the dry land, I gently placed Destiny on the sandy ground. She was still breathing, but the ordeal had taken a toll on her, and she had consumed a lot of water. I leaned down, placing my lips on hers, drawing out the water from her body. After some time, she began to cough, coughing out water she had swallowed. Her limbs were wounded, and she was in need of medical attention. Weakly, she looked at me, a faint smile on her face.

Then he chuckles softly. “Well.” I sigh. “What now?” He looks back at me. “You’ve got the captain wrapped around your finger.” My stomach flips. “No, I don’t.” Luca smirks. “You really don’t see it, do you?” “See what?” He leans back on the therapy table. “The guy is completely gone for you.” My heart stutters. “That’s ridiculous.” “Is it?” I grab the medical gloves again. “Shoulder,” I say flatly. “What an interesting choice.” The captain was taken aback by the comment, and floundered a response. “I, er, was I mistaken?” he stammered. “I apologize… I, uh, what should I call you?” “Whatever suits you,” Lucifer said, and waved off the question dismissively. The mercenary captain looked around nervously at his officers in search of answers, but none of them had one for him. Instead, the captain cleared his throat and adjusted his stance. “I… look, I understand that you love to play games,” said the captain, “but now isn’t the time. Our fleet’s taking a serious beating. If this keeps up, we’re gonna lose our charge, and our contract’s gonna get voided. We can’t afford that.”
