I type back quickly. Can I join through video? I’m a little tied up right now. Ten minutes later my phone rings. I answer and the video call pops up. The second I see the screen, I freeze. “What the fuck happened?” I ask. Jinx is sitting there with fresh blood smeared across his face and shirt.

He rolled his eyes and frowned at Quinn. "You look more like a female from the back than I do," Ryker teases and Quinn rolls his eyes. "I don't think that matters to the big fella," he winked and Ryker eyed him curiously. The two friends entered the front door and were greeted by an elderly man who escorted them to a sitting area. Jinx the lycan hybrid king of the area sauntered in and both young men grinned. Jinx had spiked blue hair and numerous facial piercings.

The demon licked Jinx's neck. "And that's not what you taste like." Jinx calmly put his deck in the pouch he carried at his side, took a few steps back and did a jump front kick to Lexi's chin. "Personal space, demon. You aren't my type."
