Enemy From The Past (Unseen Enemy 4)

Enemy From The Past (Unseen Enemy 4)

So maybe Jim lived in a tiny place because he was a single guy, and he saw no point in wasting money on a larger apartment. Anyway, from the looks of it, the man spent every penny he had on books. They were jammed onto a couple of cheap bookshelves, and piled high on every available surface. God, he even had books on his kitchen counters and neatly lined up under his bedroom window. She peeked at a few of the titles, and was amused to see the range of topics: mystery, action, contemporary literature, some horror. She even spotted a few military romance books, and she grinned at that. Maybe he’s reliving his days as a Ranger, reading about bad-ass military heroes saving damsels-in-distress in

Your Uncle, My True Love

Your Uncle, My True Love

Emma wandered toward the section of notebooks and journals, her fingers brushing spines until she paused at one with a simple cover. “You like that one?” James asked softly. Emma nodded. “I want to write again. Not for anyone else. For myself.” James smiled. “Take it.” At the counter, the bookseller offered a friendly nod. No recognition. No whispers. James realized how much he missed small moments of anonymity like this—being an ordinary man buying a book at night. Outside, the air had grown colder. They walked slowly back to the car. As James settled Ethan into his seat, the boy murmured, half-asleep, “Papa.”

My cursed Lycan mate

My cursed Lycan mate

Her aim was pathetic and none of the papers she threw out landed in the bin. "How was your day, Ella?" Patrick asked as he entered her room. " It was awful. I met your supposed son. His name is James Wallas." Ella turned around and rolled her eyes. Patrick laughed at his daughter." My son. I didn't know I had one." "Yeah well he claims he is the directors son." Ella snapped. She was trying to write but her brain felt so scrambled with different ideas, she just couldn't form a great story. She thought of writing about her dream but felt it would just take her down that deep winding road of revenge and anger. All she could think about was betrayal.

Then: "Does he have a house? Does he have a dog? I want a dog but Mommy says we have to wait until we're responsible enough. James lost his shoe twice." "That was one time." James objected from across the room. "Twice. Monday and Wednesday." August was firm on this. He turned back to Patricia. "Does Daddy have a dog?" "I don't think he does. But I know he'd love to meet you and hear about the dog you want someday." Patricia chose her words carefully. "He thinks about you very much." August went quiet with this information. Turned it over in his mind the way he did with everything. James had wandered back over and was now sitting at Patricia's feet trying to put a block on her shoe.

Billionaire's Regret: Finding Her

Billionaire's Regret: Finding Her

Caitlin said gently, “Patricia, from now on, besides Mommy, Daddy, and the people we tell you to trust—you can’t go with anyone else, okay? Strangers might lie to you and take you away, and that’s very dangerous. Do you understand?” Patricia, eyes still brimming with tears, nodded. In the woods, James sprinted like a shadow through the trees. The man in black had seen that his plan had failed—and now someone was chasing him. He tossed the detonator aside and vanished deeper into the forest. James zeroed in on the fleeing figure and pushed harder, wind roaring past his ears. His mind was laser-focused on one goal: Catch him. Tyler, not far behind, spotted the discarded detonator on the ground

Ruining My Enemy's Daughter

Ruining My Enemy's Daughter

I must. I open the door, expecting Ira or some girl, instead I see a man in a crisp gray suit standing in front of me. I blink in confusion. “Yes?” “Miss Riley. I am James Patterson.” He forwards his hand and my mind screams not to shake it. His expensive tailored suit, trimmed gray hair and neatly shaved face gives me a sense of foreboding. It’s all too familiar. Just like Mikolaj fuckin Josef, this man is scary. Not in looks, but in personality.

Shading Black

Shading Black

James sat in his cane chair with his eyes closed and feet resting on the table as he listened to the sound of two goats in his backyard, bleating. The goats were gifts from Osinala which arrived very early in the morning before he could say the Lord's Prayer and brush his teeth. He looked forward to another meeting in the village square when he had regained his confidence and was strong enough to defend his cause. He stood up now and walked to the small pile of books he had arranged last night in search of an exemplary text that would fascinate his mind and set him in the right mood. Some weeks ago, he had considered writing a book about his trip to Africa. Unlike all the books he had read,

A Crush I Can't date (My Goodnovel Crush)

A Crush I Can't date (My Goodnovel Crush)

I know Jamaal, his threats are always carried out to the extreme. I wasn't comfortable staying in his room, it smelt of him and reminds me every of my encounter with him. I stood up and walked around his room, the neatness of his room still surprises me. A rack full of footballs was at the corner of the room and a little shelf was besides his study table. I walked towards the shelf, I was expecting to see the textbooks we use in school on the shelf, but I saw novels instead. Books by John Grisham, Sidney Sheldon, Colleen Hoover, James Patterson and Ted Dekker.

A Dangerous Game: Desired By The Billionaire Brothers

A Dangerous Game: Desired By The Billionaire Brothers

Mom supported me, not because she understood, but because she loved me and wanted me to be happy. I stood up and walked around the library, feeling a little restless. They had all of the classics, and some of them looked as though they were expensive copies. Other authors that I regularly read, such as James Patterson and Dean Koontz were on the shelves. They even had some of my female favorites, such as Lisa Jackson, Lisa Gardner and Heather Graham Pozzessere. Then I wondered down to another section where I found some more provocative books. They had a lot. “You are not stupid people and you know why I initially came to the island. Do you think that I am some kind of loose woman?”
